"Marcia is part dog-whisperer, part trainer, part vet and 100% caring service provider. She has been taking care of my Luna for the better part

of a year both at doggie-day-care and in my home when I travelled. She is extremely devoted and my dog is much more excited to see her come through the door than she is to see me come home! I wholeheartedly endorse Marcia for whatever pet services you need!

—Brian Dean

"Marcia is a one of a kind pet sitter sent from heaven! My dog Tango suffers from seizures and is on multiple medications daily. Marcia is like his second mother, expertly managing his meds and making sure Tango thrives with his doggie daycare friends in a safe environment. When Marcia comes to the door, Tango drags her back to her house where I think he believes he has died and gone to heaven for the day! I also utilize Marcia for overnight trips.... I've had her sleep at my home and I have had Tango stay with her at her home. There is nothing like knowing your doggie child is in great hands to make a trip carefree! Highly recommend this home away from home feeling pet service!!"

"My twelve-year-old IG Bella is very friendly with everyone in my presence; but, can be skiddish and anxious in other people's home. To my peace of mind, she took to Marcia instantly and I know from the pics sent when sitting that my Bella was comfortable and felt "at home". Marcia is like a "pet whisperer" as she is fully devoted and highly capable in her instincts for each pet's individual needs. Without hesitation I recommend her services as the best I've had the privilege to use. She's like a second mom to all of them!"

—Connie Cole

"Our new Havanese puppy came to us from a respected breeder, and was crate trained. He is the heart of our family, and our son's best friend. I was extremely anxious about how to accommodate him while I was at work. He is very social, and hates to be alone, and he was just a puppy. Marcia was a Godsend! He has been with his "second mom" for the past year, while I'm working and when we're traveling. Marcia's not only concerned for Falcor's health and happiness when she's with him, but often inquires about him when he spends a length of time away. I know she truly loves him, and really "gets" his personality. It's obvious that he adores her, too! She even threw a 1st birthday party for him! I've never left a review before, but I so sincerely and wholeheartedly endorse Marcia! She is a blessing to Falcor and our family."

🐾💔BETRAYED BY HIS FAMILY💔🐾
Can you imagine not feeling too well and being a 14 year old senior dog in a home with your family who promised to love and care for you when suddenly they put you outside and called the police animal control department to report you as a stray? And then when an officer arrived and saw you continuing to try to go into your house the family who you loved dearly denied knowing you.

Well that is what happened to poor Duke. He was betrayed by his family at a time in which he needed them the most because once in the care of our friends at Eastpointe Police Animal Control Division they quickly realized that not only was he microchipped to the person who reported him as a stray but also that he was very sick and needed urgent medical care.

As things often happen we were in the right place at the right time and once we heard Duke's story we stepped up to sponsor Duke's medical care and he was immediately transported to an emergency veterinary hospital for care where he has tested positive for Lyme's disease and in addition to that he has some concerning bloodwork.

We know that the City of Eastpointe has ZERO TOLERANCE for animal neglect/abandonedment/abuse and we are confident that there will be serious legal consequences for Duke's abandonment.

At this time our number one concern is making sure that Duke gets all the medical care he needs to recover so that he will have the opportunity to live in a home with a family that truly loves and cares for him.

To donate towards Duke's care please click on this post or you can go to Detroitpitcrew.com or through our Cash App $Detroitpitcrew.

Checks can be mailed to:

Thank you to everyone who stands with us on behalf of the voiceless!

We will keep everyone updated on Duke's condition as we receive more information from his medical team.
