Update on Mouth

Mouth has taken a small but hopeful step forward — he has started eating small amounts on his own. For a puppy fighting parvo, that is a really big deal.

He is still in the hospital receiving intensive care, including fluids and medications, because his little body is still very fragile. But seeing him show interest in food again gives us something to hold onto.

Even while he’s weak, Mouth still leans into every gentle touch. He just wants comfort and to know he’s not alone. His fight isn’t over, but he is trying — and that means everything.

Please keep cheering him on and sharing his story. Every bit of support helps keep this brave little pup going. 🐾💙

Update on 1/11/26 pm
Mouth is still hanging on, but there has been no improvement so far. He’s very weak and the parvo is still affecting him. He’s receiving constant care while we continue to hope and pray for a turnaround. 💔🐾

🐾 Mouth Needs a Miracle 🐾

This tiny puppy named Mouth should be learning how to play, not how to fight for his life. But parvo has taken so much from him already — his strength, his appetite, and his chance to just be a happy baby.

Mouth is in intensive care right now, hooked up to IV fluids and medications, being watched every minute. He’s tired… but he’s still holding on. 💔

All he wants is to feel safe and loved — and that’s exactly what we’re trying to give him. But his treatment is expensive, and we can’t save him without help.

Even a small donation can make a big difference for this little guy.

One of our volunteer’s friends found this pup wandering around Manayunk. She’s chipped, but it’s not registered to anyone. Found dog reports have been made with the local intake shelters.

As the new year begins, Reese is still patiently waiting for the one thing he’s been hoping for all along: a forever home ✨

Reese’s journey started as a stray, before finding his way to our rescue. He’s been blossoming in foster care more & more each day! He may be a little shy at first, but behind those soft eyes is a truly gentle soul. With patience, kindness, & a few good treats, Reese opens up to show just how loyal & loving he can be!

Just under a year old, this sweet boy does wonderfully with dogs, cats, & children. He’s about 30 lbs & both crate trained & house trained. When it’s time to relax, you’ll usually find him happily chewing on a bone 🦴

Reese is searching for a calm, loving home where he can continue building confidence & start the next chapter of his life surrounded by care & compassion. If your New Year’s resolution includes making room for a furry friend, Reese might just be the perfect match!

Polenta aka Penny is still looking for her forever home! Penny is a 4-year-old wirehaired terrier. When Penny was turned in as a stray at the ACCT, her shyness was noticeable, but she warms up quickly.

Penny is house trained, crate trained, & would do well in a house with older children or other small dogs! Penny's favorite things are to play with her toys, go for walks, & snuggle. Penny is just looking for someone who loves to walk as much as she does & for someone to simply love her!

Did you know that some rabbits love to be pet just as much as some dogs? That's the case for our Bugs! Bugs is a 3-year-old Dutch male rabbit. He may be small, but he has so much love to give!

Bugs came to the rescue from a family who could no longer keep him. He has been growing up great in foster, getting along with other animals. Rabbits like Bugs are also great in a home with small children. He warms up to people quickly & has a sweet & gentle personality.

Bugs is house trained! If you're looking for a friendly, affectionate rabbit to join your family, Bugs might be the perfect match!
