This spring, we had the pleasure of hosting two outstanding TriDistrict CAPS students, Ella and Juliana, as they explored the field of veterinary medicine at South Hyland Pet Hospital.
Since 2021, we've been proud to partner with the TriDistrict Career and College Readiness Initiative, providing students from Two Rivers, Simley, and South St. Paul High Schools with hands-on learning experiences in a real veterinary practice. Programs like TriDistrict CAPS give students the opportunity to explore potential career paths while developing valuable professional skills that will serve them wherever their future takes them.
Throughout their time with us, Ella and Juliana embraced every opportunity to learn about the many facets of veterinary medicine. From observing patient care to gaining insight into the daily operations of a veterinary hospital, they approached each experience with curiosity, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
We were honored to attend the TriDistrict CAPS Showcase and see them reflect on their experiences and share what they learned throughout the semester. Watching students connect classroom learning with real-world experiences is one of the most rewarding parts of participating in this program.
A special thank you to our CVT and Student/Internship Coordinator, Hannah, whose dedication helps create meaningful learning experiences for every student who comes through our doors.
Thank you, Ella and Juliana, for being part of the South Hyland family this spring. We wish you both continued success as you pursue your goals and explore the many opportunities ahead!
