Today we want to send a huge birthday shoutout to Danyar F***j! Thank you for being such a wonderful supporter of Ten Lives Club. From adopting the adorable kitty pictured here, to generously donating a washer when we desperately needed one, to constantly advocating for TLC!

As if that wasn’t enough, Danyar is also celebrating his birthday by hosting a fundraiser for Ten Lives Club! 🥹

Our URGENT needs this week are:
* Recovery Suits: these are used for our kitties after surgery! We go through a lot as we are constantly doing spay & neuter surgeries. We could really use more! Specially size large!
* Stethoscope: our vet team would really love more of these! We are low!
* Royal Canin Mom & Baby Food, Stage 2: this food is great for our mom and baby cats! It’s peak kitten season so we always need this!
* New desk chairs: the new desks in our surgery suite are very high and our vet team would love to have some of these chairs for comfortability while they work.

🐾 WE’RE HIRING: ANIMAL CARE ASSOCIATES 🐾 We’re still looking for the right people to join the Ten Lives Club team!

With kitten season in full swing and hundreds of cats and kittens relying on us every day, we have multiple Animal Care Associate positions available and are specifically looking for candidates with previous animal care experience.

This is a hands-on role involving:
Daily care of cats and kittens
Cleaning and maintaining animal housing areas
Monitoring cat health - our associates play a KEY role in cat health while in our program!
Record keeping and working closely with veterinary and adoption teams

Animal shelter, veterinary clinic, boarding facility, daycare, rescue, or other professional animal care experience is strongly preferred.

This position is VERY fast-paced, physically demanding, and incredibly rewarding. We’re looking for dependable, hardworking animal lovers who aren’t afraid to jump in and help wherever needed. Think you’re the right fit? We’d love to hear from you!

Today we welcomed this sweet boy into our care from another rescue partner, and immediately our vet team started to treat him.

His name is Seven, due to his seven toes! And he’s a very sweet boy who has been through a lot. More than a cat should ever go through.

But now, he is safe in our shelter and being taken care of by our wonderful team.

Seven will need sometime to heal from his wounds, but we know he will recover and be ready for his second chance at a better life in a new home. ♥️

SOS — We Need Your Help! 🚨

We are urgently looking for a new Adoption Coordinator for our PetSmart East Aurora adoption center.

Without a coordinator, we may be forced to leave this location and we’d hate to see that happen. 🙁 This adoption center helps connect so many wonderful cats with loving families, and we want to keep serving the East Aurora community.

Volunteer shifts are flexible, and we’ll provide training and support. If you love cats, enjoy working with people, and want to make a direct impact on homeless animals, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

RASCAL AND MONSTER FINALLY GOT THEIR HAPPY ENDING!!!🥹🥹

After being with us for five long months, these two bonded brothers finally found their family and forever home!!♥️♥️♥️♥️

Rascal and Monster were originally found in a feral colony in January, and took awhile to get settled into our shelter. They were constantly overlooked for adoption due to their shy personalities and being bonded. But these two need each other and needed someone to give them a second chance and forever home that they can call their own.

And yesterday, that’s exactly what happened!
A lovely family wanted to help our harder to place cats, and absolutely adored Rascal and Monster. They have a quiet and calm household with just them and their senior girl kitty, so now Rascal and Monster will have a new family, house, and kitty sister!!🥹🥹🥹

This lovely family understands they will need sometime to adjust and adapt to their new home. And they will do whatever it takes to make them feel loved and comfortable in their new home. ♥️

Thank you so much to the kind family for seeing our kitties as two cats just looking for a second chance and for someone to understand and love them.
We are so beyond happy our two boys finally found their happy ending. 💕
