🐾 BARN HELP WANTED! 🐾

Do you love animals and want to make a difference? We need YOU! ❤️

At our Myles Ahead Barn Location, we have animals who need care twice a day, every day, at a minimum. We have an amazing group of volunteers who help make that happen, but we currently have some openings on our team!

Every week can be a little different at the Barn. You just never know who might need our help next! 🐶🐱

Our current volunteer openings are:
🐾 Monday Morning
🐾 Monday Evening
🐾 Wednesday Morning
🐾 Wednesday Evening
🐾 Substitute Volunteers who can step in when our regular volunteers need coverage.

Let’s be honest… volunteering at the Barn isn’t always glamorous! 😂 We have cats, litter boxes to scoop, messes to clean up, and plenty of chores to do. But in return? You get unconditional love, happy tails, purrs, and the satisfaction of knowing you’re making a difference in the lives of animals who need us. ❤️

You don’t have to be an expert — you just need a love for animals, a willingness to pitch in, and a heart for helping.

🐾 Meet Daisy — Your Next Best Friend and Foot Warmer! ❤️

Daisy is a 5-year-old Basset Hound who came to Myles Ahead when her beloved owner had to move into supported living. Through no fault of her own, Daisy has found herself looking for a new place to call home.

And let me tell you, this girl is an absolute TREASURE! 🥰

Daisy is currently staying at our Barn location, and while we are taking good care of her, the Barn just isn’t her cup of tea. Daisy wants what so many of us want — to be near her people. She wants a home, a comfy place to lay her head, and someone to love.

She would do best as the only dog in the home, but she has been wonderful with cats and everything else we’ve introduced her to!

What does Daisy love? Walks, a little room to run around, and curling up by your feet to keep your toes warm. ❤️ She’s easygoing with people coming and going, and her sweet, compliant nature makes her an absolute joy.

You know who we think might be the perfect match for Daisy? Someone who has lost a beloved pet, someone living alone who would enjoy a faithful companion, or someone who simply wants a gentle soul to share life’s quiet moments with.

There’s something pretty special about having a dog who just wants to be with you. No big production. No need for constant entertainment. Just companionship, love, and warm toes on a chilly evening. 🐾

Daisy has so much love left to give. She deserves a soft place to land and a person who will cherish her for the rest of her life.

🚨 DOG ON THE RUN — HENRY IS MISSING! 🚨

Henry spooked this morning while out on a walk with his foster on Shawhan Road. We need everyone in the area to keep their eyes open and help us get Henry safely back to his foster!

📍 Last known area: Shawhan Road

If you see Henry, please follow these important instructions:

🐾 DO NOT CALL OUT TO HIM OR TALK TO HIM.
🐾 DO NOT APPROACH OR CHASE HIM.
📸 If possible, safely take a picture and text it to 513-440-7330.
📍 Please include his exact location and the time of the sighting.

Even if Henry is moving, please report every sighting immediately. This information can help us track his movements and bring him home safely.
