ONLY friendly dogs and their responsible owners welcomed dawn to dusk. The Tom Harvey Memorial Dog Park originated as a place my husband and I took our dogs and served his nursery/landscaping business. After his passing, I noticed dogs being walked in grassy areas along 730, and it hit me they need a better place. So, with much help and encouragement from my neighbor Mark McDaniel, I opened up our

place to them. No tax dollars or other funding goes into it. Just me making a gift to fellow dog lovers in my husband's memory. Please respect and enjoy your dog park:
Nine acres, all fenced: five-acre grass area with swimming pond, four acres of shaded woods with walking paths. Benches, picnic table, fresh water. Donations benefit PAWS Humane Society. Privately owned and maintained. Open dawn to dusk year round to all responsible dog owners.

Walking the woods to check for any damage from the recent winds, I was happily accompanied by a visiting family of four pointers of all ages and colors and, of course, mom, running as fast as they could, excitedly discovering ice, and jumping at who knows what in the tall grass (well, not mom)😁. Thanks for sharing the joy!
