We are excited to introduce Brie 💗 This gal has an extreme history of crate & separation anxiety (which has required surgery numerous times) & dog aggression. Because she has busted through doors & crates previously & escaped a kennel run at a vet clinic, this is an all-hands on deck case for our training team.

We love a challenge & miss Brie needs some serious intervention to get her back into balance. As you can imagine, this is all very stressful for her human as well.

Brie is 9 years old but that doesn’t mean she can’t learn how to feel differently about boundaries humans are setting for her🤙

We hit the ground running (well, walking very slowly actually 😂) & then continued the crate work we started at her initial evaluation. She’s with our head trainers so she has humans nearby 24/7 at this stage in her journey with the added benefit of having a balanced pack in their home to set the tone of calmness 🫶

“Blaine Kennels is the only place we’ll board our anxious/dog-reactive German Shepherd rescue, Ella. We know she’s always in great hands with the Blaine Kennels staff.
We’ve also done a reactive dog daycare assessment and participated in a number of spicy dog pack walks. We leave each time having learned something new from Thomas, Emily, and team, that we can bring into practice at home.

We went from feeling resigned that Ella would never be able to be around other dogs to walking loose-leash with a group of 20-30 other “spicy dogs” through Blaine Kennels guidance. Seeing Ella’s confidence grow along with our confidence in how we handle her has been the best part of all of this.
