We are a collaboration between two dedicated 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organizations: Animal Aid USA and Allmon’s All About Animals. Together, we are Allmon’s Camp Animal Aid! 🫶
Animal Aid USA is a volunteer-run, donation-funded rescue organization dedicated to helping animals in rural and high-kill shelters throughout Georgia. Since 2012, volunteers have traveled from New Jersey to Georgia every 28 days, saving an average of 100–150 dogs each month. Thanks to their dedication, almost 50,000 lives have been have saved! 🙌
Allmon’s All About Animals is located on 20 acres in Blackshear, Georgia and has been operating since 2013. Its mission is to provide safety, care, and second chances to unwanted, abused, neglected, and forgotten animals in need. ❤️🩹 It is home to the Allmon’s Camp Animal Aid rescue complex.
Every month, when the Animal Aid USA caravan arrives from New Jersey, volunteers gather at Camp — our fully equipped, self-sufficient rescue complex built to support both the animals and the people who care for them.
Camp includes multiple tiny-home style bunk houses with air conditioning and heat, private bedrooms, and full bathrooms with showers. We also have a courtyard gathering area, a full kitchen and dining hall, laundry facilities, a veterinary building, and even a tiny chapel for quiet and reflection. ⛪️
Before being transported to our private receiving rescue partners where they go on to be adopted through background checked families, home checks and home visits, our dogs stay in spacious doggy dens equipped with AC and heat, with indoor and outdoor access so they can move freely and comfortably throughout the day. We also have a dedicated puppy building with specialized climate control and vented air circulation to help keep our smallest residents healthy and safe. 🐶
And when storms roll through or the power goes out? Camp is equipped with multiple generators throughout the property so the animals continue receiving the care and comfort they deserve, no matter what. ⚡️
Taking part in an Animal Aid USA transport changes people forever. You experience joy, heartbreak, hope, anger, and love all at once as you learn the stories behind each dog at Camp. These animals leave paw prints not just on the ground, but on the hearts of everyone they meet.
At the end of it all, you leave different than when you arrived, and we believe that’s a beautiful thing. ✨
