Reyzin a Star, owned by Roger Terry, followed his big winnings last week in Las Vegas with the Open Derby championship at the Utah Reined Cow Horse Futurity this week! $20,000 in a two week period!!

Reyzin a Star, owned by Roger Terry, won $14,000 in the NSHA Derby and was the Intermediate Open Derby Champion yesterday in Las Vegas. Check out he and Zane’s fence work video in the comments below.

Speakeasy Cat, one of Zane’s all time favorite horses, won a total of $16,000 this week for owner Lightning 7 Cattle Company. It was this stallion’s first time showing in a bridle, and he went up against the best bridle horses in the world. (Fence video in comments)

I just received news that my good friend and mentor Monty Roberts passed.

I can trace every good thing that ever happened to me in the equine world back to Monty and Pat Roberts.

He was incredibly intelligent and the best I ever saw at working with problem/remedial horses.

I had the opportunity to travel with him to six countries and over 40 states. A couple years ago, I posted a few stories about the crazy adventures he and I had together. It might be worth checking them out.

Monty “rode his spade bit pony through the golden light” on Friday. I hope we ride together again my friend.
