We have a pretty consistant group of daycare dogs that come for structured obedience & play sessions.
We are always welcoming newcomers but keep our groups smaller for safety reasons.
Believe it or not this good looking group of dogs haven’t always been able to hold and do their group obedience so effortlessly. It took reps, patience, and consistency to get here.
Too often are dogs allowed to play and never expected to work obedience around one another which makes being in public with your dogs “friends” challenging because they think it’s constantly play time.

We have 50 Bark In The Park Rumble Ponies Tickets to hand out to clients to come enjoy their game with their families, friends, and 4 legged companions.

Our Spring Advanced 1.0 Off Leash Group Class has officially graduated! The amount of progress everyone has made has been remarkable! I look forward to seeing this amazing group in the upcoming Advanced 1.0 and Advanced 2.0 classes to continue to grow and master all they’ve learned!
We ended at our Farm location & are so appreciative to have the opportunity for this awesome location from T&K Farms, LLC.

Loki & Nala working on loose leash walking together but separately at the park! Loki use to get very distracted by Nala being on the walk which made it a difficult walk and today we fine tuned some behaviors and ended up on a nice enjoyable walk with the both of them.

🌲 Our Spring Hiking Group Class 🌲

It was our longest, wettest hike of the class! Everyone did fantastic, im going to miss seeing you guys each week!
Looking forward to seeing some of you join us in our next hiking group class that starts in November - Our 9 Week Winter Hiking Group Class.

What an awesome day, & an awesome client.
Watching Ace make the amount of progress he’s made in just 5 lessons spaced out over 3 months has been outstanding. The spacing of the lessons was intentional, but I mention it because a lot of clients think it’s seeing us weekly that creates the change in their dog when in reality it’s them in between sessions putting the work in with everything we’ve taught them.
Aces dad updates us weekly sometimes more then that to get tips, tricks, and just a good job when all is going well.
We worked on:
Separation anxiety
Confidence building
Dog exposure
People exposure & socialization
Laid a strong foundation in obedience
Learned a lot about body language, advocating, relationship building, & communication.
& so much more.
Although we will always be here for ace, and will provide guidance in anyway when needed, it’s bittersweet but we have completed our final lesson by working on something fun that they can do all summer long!

Truly a privilege helping these two get to where they are today!

My name is Kelsey i am the Owner and Dog Trainer of M&A Dog Training. I strive to keep my clients happy and to make dog training affordable to the everyday family. I have a strong love for animals and own 3 dogs of my own. I am a volunteer for Bright Star German Shepherd Rescue: where i do in home visits to make sure the families are fit to adopt, as well as i am one of the dog trainers listed on there website, i transport dogs as well as occasionally foster. I am also a volunteer at the Broome County Dog Shelter: i help train dogs that struggle to get adopted.
