🐾 Update from Callie-J: I’m feeling so much better! 🐾

Whew, I was feeling pretty ruff for a minute there! My humans told me that because I’m a brachycephalic girl (that’s just a fancy way of saying I have this cute, short snout), my seasonal allergies decided to be extra and turned into a yucky sinus infection. 🤧

But don’t worry—I was a very brave girl at the vet yesterday!
Here is my "get well" recipe so far:
• 💉 A steroid shot cocktail (I didn't even flinch!)
• 💊 Some antibiotics to chase the germs away.
• ☁️ And I just finished another steam session with Mom this morning!

My nose is finally clearing up and I’m ready for some extra snuggles today. Thanks for looking out for me! ❤️🐾

Poor Callie-J has been dealing with a cold, and of course, it hit right over the weekend while the vet was closed. I’ll admit, it definitely brought up some tough memories of BellaBell’s passing. 🐾💔
But we’re making it through—our 4th steam session 🛁💨 is in the books and they really seem to be helping her breathe easier! We’ll be headed to the vet first thing tomorrow morning. Looking back, maybe she was sick this weekend because God just wanted me right here to be with her. His timing is always right, ❤️🙏 even though we may not understand.

Hey everyone! It’s Callie-J, reporting from the Pink Heart Funds 5k ribbon walk! 🩷🐾
Let me tell you, it was a BARK-tastic day! ☀️ Mom made sure I was ready for anything, so she brought my wagon (the big black one in the picture!) just in case my little puppy paws got tired. And good thing they did! 🤫 When we hit that big bridge, my big brother, Easton, had to give me a break. He pulled me along in my comfy wagon while I rested my puppy paws—remember, I’m still just a baby Cane Corso! 💤 Big brothers are the best! 🐶
But check this out! Mom didn't just bring the wagon. She got me some serious cool-dog gear. Look at these PINK GOGGLES! 🕶️ Do I look stylish or what?! And she even got me matching pink booties to protect my paws from that hot ground. I felt like a superhero! 💪💖
We had such a fun morning with our Coast Krewe family and everyone else walking for such a good cause. Did I mention our team won a trophy and I got a Medal?! 🏆 Mom said my medal (see it in the other picture! It has a butterfly! 🦋) is for finishing the walk, being a good girl and using my manners, the ones I know anyway 😝.
After all that walking (and riding, of course!), we had the best time at the splash pad! I got to play in the water with my mom and the littles while I cooled off.
It was a paw-some day, and I can’t wait for the next walk! 🩷🐾

We decided that the only hunting we are doing today is for hidden treats, belly rubs, and a nice, long nap. 🦴🌸
