🎃🐾 Happy Halloween from Cat Lady Lounge! 🐈‍⬛🧡

Ceidie is here to remind everyone that even when the world feels a little spooky, we never have to face our fears alone! 💙

Halloween may be filled with ghosts, goblins, and things that go bump in the night, but God's love and protection are always with us. ✝️

📖 Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Here at Cat Lady Lounge, we believe a little kindness, a lot of love, and faith can make the world a brighter place. And of course, a few kitty cuddles never hurt! 🐱💕

From Ceidie and all of us at Cat Lady Lounge, we wish you a safe, happy, and blessed Halloween! 🎃🍂

Stay brave, stay kind, and remember you are never alone! 💙🐾

🐱💙 DAY 15 OF OPENING THE CAT LADY LOUNGE! 🎨🐾

GOODBYE PINK AND GREEN WALLS!! 👋😂

Today was ALL about painting, and let me tell you… it took the WHOLE day! 😭🎨

We finally got our beautiful dark blue and antique white paint up on the walls, and WOW, what a difference! 💙🤍

It's so exciting to finally see the old colors disappear and watch our vision for The Cat Lady Lounge come to life! 🥹🐱

We still have plenty of work ahead of us, but this is definitely one of those days where you can really see the progress!

A huge thank you to everyone helping us make this dream a reality! 💙

What do you think of our new colors?! 👀🎨 Let us know in the comments!

Cat Lady Lounge Donation Wall 🐱💙

Every donation, big or small, helps us get one step closer to creating a safe, welcoming place for our community and the cats who will call Cat Lady Lounge home. To recognize the amazing people who help make this dream possible, we created three donor levels for our Cat Lady Lounge Donation Wall:

Friends of the Lounge — $1–$99
For the wonderful friends who choose to support our mission and help us build this dream one paw print at a time.

Purr Partners — $100–$499
For our generous partners whose support makes a meaningful impact as we prepare the lounge, purchase supplies, and create a special space for the cats and our community.

Beltrix Legacy Circle — $500+
Our highest donor level, created in honor of Beltrix and the love that inspired so much of this journey. These incredibly generous supporters are helping leave a lasting legacy at Cat Lady Lounge. 💙

Meow-chandise Partners — Item Donations
For the amazing supporters who donate food, litter, toys, supplies, furniture, and other items that help care for our cats and build the lounge. Every gift makes a difference! 🐾

Helping Paws Partners — honors those who generously donate their time, talents, skills, and labor as acts of love to help bring the Cat Lady Lounge to life.

No donation is ever too small. Every person who gives becomes part of our story, and we are incredibly grateful for every single one of you.

Days 12-14 of Opening The Cat Lady Lounge!

🐱💙 Another day of turning our dream into reality!

The Cat Lady Lounge renovations are moving right along! 🛠️✨

We've been busy cleaning, vacuuming, working on the walls, and tackling all those little jobs that take WAY longer than you think! 😂

It may not look like a cat paradise just yet, but every little thing we finish brings us one step closer to welcoming our future furry residents! 🐾

I'm so thankful for everyone who's been helping us turn this building into something special. We couldn't do it without you! 🥹💙

What are you most excited to see when The Cat Lady Lounge opens? Let me know in the comments!

🐱🎉 CAT FACT OF THE DAY! 🎉🐱

😱 WAIT… KITTENS FROM THE SAME LITTER CAN HAVE DIFFERENT DADS?! 🤯🐾

Yep, you read that right! 😂

Did you know that a mama cat can give birth to kittens that have different fathers, even though they're all born in the same litter?! 🐈💕

This happens because a female cat can mate with more than one male during her heat cycle, and her eggs can be fertilized by different dads!

The scientific name for this is superfecundation! 🧬✨

So if you've ever seen a litter of kittens where one is orange, one is black, one is gray, and another looks completely different… they MIGHT actually have different dad! 😹

Of course, kittens can also look very different even when they have the same parents!

💬 NOW WE WANT TO KNOW!

Have you ever seen a litter of kittens where every single baby looked completely different?! 🥹🐾

Tell us in the comments! We'd love to hear your stories or see pictures! 📸💕

🐱💙 Days 7–11 of Opening The Cat Lady Lounge! 🎨☁️

We are FINALLY getting to the fun part… PAINTING! 🎉

But first, we had to tape up EVERYTHING! The windows, lights, floors, and pretty much anything we didn't want covered in paint. 😂 And let me tell you, it took FOREVER!

After all that preparation, we finally started turning our ceiling into a beautiful blue SKY! ☁️💙 We have plans to add clouds and a few other surprises!

And of course… blue paint ended up EVERYWHERE. On me, my clothes, and just about everything else! 😭😂

It's so exciting to finally see our vision coming to life, little by little! 🥹🐾

What do you think about having a sky ceiling in the cat lounge? Let us know in the comments!

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our journey! 💙

🐱💙 CAT FACT OF THE DAY! 💙🐱

Did you know that Sphynx cats aren't actually completely hairless?!

That's right! These adorable little wrinkles often have a super fine layer of fuzz that makes their skin feel almost like a warm peach!

And here's something even crazier! 🤯 Because Sphynx cats don't have a thick fur coat, they can get cold more easily and love snuggling up in warm blankets or cuddling with their favorite humans! 🥹❤️

Just look at Miss Bigglesworth all wrapped up in her cozy blanket! 😻 Isn't she precious?!

💬 We want to know! Would you ever own a Sphynx cat, or do you already have one? Tell us in the comments! 🐾

🐱💙 It's time for our Cat Fact of the Day! 🐾✨

Have you ever noticed your cat's ears turning in different directions, almost like little satellite dishes? 📡😹

Well, there's actually a reason for that! Cats have over 20 muscles in each ear, helping them pick up sounds from all around them! 👂🐈

No wonder they can hear a treat bag opening from across the house! 😂🐟

💬 Now we want to know! Does your cat have selective hearing? Can they hear a treat bag from a mile away but suddenly go deaf when you call their name? 🤣

Tell us in the comments! We'd love to hear about your funny little furballs! 💕
