Meet Tobi.

Tobi was rescued by me in June with their 8 siblings and mom….all others were adopted and Bean and Tobi are next.

She is super healthy…no known health issues.

Leash trained, crate trained, can swim, great traveler and loves to play and cuddle!

Mom was about 42lb & she's about 38lbs now since being spayed by Sr. Karen Frembgen @ Knickerbocker Rd Animal Hospital in San Angelo, TX. No microchip.

Born on 5/4/2025.

Sweet and a great learner.

She love other dogs. She has been around kids some and she loved them! She is curious about cats & has no resource guarding issues.

Meet 5 female Border Collie mix puppies who absolutely did not ask to be this adorable but are leaning into it HARD. They are small, fluffy, dramatic, and firmly believe naps are optional and chaos is a lifestyle 😌🐶

These girls wake up every day choosing violence (zoomies), love aggressively, and have already unionized against bedtime.

🐾 New Year, Same Chaos—But Way More Experienced 🎉

We’re heading into this new year at The Barking Lot Animal Sanctuary with more knowledge, more experience, and significantly more dog hair on our clothes than we had last year. And honestly? We wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Last year taught us a lot. Like how to function on caffeine and sheer determination. How every “quick rescue” is a lie. How some days feel impossible… until a scared tail finally wags and suddenly everything makes sense again.

We learned through muddy boots, vet bills, late-night Google searches, tears, laughs, and moments that cracked our hearts wide open. Every win was earned, every mistake became a lesson, and every animal reminded us why we do this in the first place.

This year, we’re stepping forward wiser, stronger, and still slightly unhinged—in the best way. We’re ready to do more, be better, love harder, and keep showing up even when it’s messy, loud, and exhausting. Especially then.

Thank you to everyone who supported us, believed in us, donated, shared posts, showed up, and rode the roller coaster with us. You’re part of every life we save.

Here’s to another year of growth, grit, and fighting like hell for the ones who need us most. 💜🐕
