Want to get ? Better learn that they love grass hay. Our alpacas prefer second cut grass hay and don’t like eating it off the ground. Yes, they are spoiled. You can “dry lot” or combine this with pasture feeding them.

When you decide to purchase your alpacas, they will help you decide. They will pick you as well.

We fell in love with alpacas (well, I should say that I first fell in love with their sweet faces) several years back, and began learning everything we could about them. The journey to actually having them began early 2015 when the decision was made that I would retire as an educator (elementary school principal), M would leave his successful consulting business in SLC, and together we would begin the next adventure of our lives. Join us at the ranch, and let us answer questions you may have, such as .... ****How long are alpacas pregnant? *****How long do they live? ****** Do they have names? ******What's the difference between alpacas and llamas? ******What can you do with them? ******Is it hard to have alpacas? *******Will we mentor you if you purchase from us? We also offer beautiful hand-spun yarns (many are natural colors and others are uniquely hand-dyed), hand-knit hats, rovings (ready for you to spin), entire fleeces from our shorn alpacas, beautiful art weavings, and funky, one-of-a-kind woven scarves and wall hangings. These are available in our darling “Paca Shop.” We carry a great variety of reasonably-priced alpaca-themed souvenirs. You’ll find us open most weeks, Monday through Saturday, and closed on Sundays.
