Paging Dr. Maddox 📣

Today our technician, Kayla, brought her handsome guy, Maddox, in for a dental cleaning with Dr. Fitch. 🦷 🪥

Dogs and cats need regular dental care just like people do. But because they can’t open and say “ahhhh” we put our patients under general anesthesia to get their pearly whites all polished up. While under, we perform a full exam on every tooth and their gums. We also scale, polish and even take radiographs just like you would get. 🩻 😬

Maddox woke up and went right back to his daily duty of being the cutest Pekingese 💕💕

At Everybunny Counts, we strongly advocate for preventative care, including vaccination against RHDV2💉

RHDV2 is an incredibly contagious hemorrhagic disease with an over 90% mortality rate that affects both wild and domestic rabbits, regardless of overall health or age. As such, we require all bunnies who will board in our facility or visit for bunny speed dates to be fully inoculated. This helps keep our other boarders, adoptable rabbits, and long-term sanctuary bunnies protected against this awful disease 💕

The veterinary offices listed have the vaccine in-stock and offer vaccinations throughout the year. Several others offer vaccination clinics; please comment below with any clinic dates so we can help spread the word!
