Are you ready for Find Out Friday?! Check out these pics! The What Is It?! Wednesday picture was of a feline femoral head.

“Ja’Marr Chase”came in for a visit unable to completely put weight on his hind leg, however he didn’t exhibit signs of pain when the doctor performed flexion tests. But when the medication prescribed for pain & inflammation didn’t result in much improvement, it was determined that he should have x-rays. If you look, you can see how his left femur isn’t seated into his pelvis the way the right femur is. The leg was amputated & his mom said he’s back to his normal self!! I should add: Ja'Marr is strictly an indoor cat! HOW he sustained this injury is a mystery!!

Key takeaways:
Cats are amazingly resilient!
Cats are MASTERS at masking pain!!

It’s time for What is It? Wednesday!! Cast your votes & check back on Friday to find out!!
