I use e-collars as an added safety measure because my dogs are free to roam around when we walk.

I live in Maine on a dead end dirt road but we have lots of wildlife and the occasional car so I need to be sure my dogs will come to me despite any distractions.

They are trained to come to me when they hear a beep. In this video I am training my youngest dog Rio to come to me whenever she hears the beep.

Lots of people hate e-collars but I try to explain that it isn’t the e-collar that’s the problem, it’s the person running it. In the wrong hands it can be a cruel tool but so can a leash or bare hands. Anything can be used with ill intention so stop blaming e-collars when it’s the A-hole holding the remote that is the problem.

If your dog is slow to get up from a lying position or can no longer jump on the couch or the bed then it’s time to start giving them some pain relief. The first time I weaned my 3.5 week old puppies to raw food was scary. I was new to it. And anytime you try something new it can be scary but I had learned so much about feeding real food and the benefits from it with my adult dogs that I knew I needed to start my puppies off right and that meant feeding real food.

I’ve started my last 4 litters on raw food and raw goats milk. The best thing we can do for our dogs is provide the right food that gives them the best chance at building a strong immune system.

I believe in raising puppies naturally so not only do I feed a fresh food diet but I also do not vaccinate my puppies 😲 “but what about the puppy diseases” you say?

No worries. They are protected using nosodes.
