If you are new here you may not even know what Volhard is so let’s start there.
This is a premade mix that you add protein to and feed to your dog 😊 easy peasy! It’s a complete balanced diet that you can feel good about feeding to your dog.
I have fed this to my dogs for 5 years. I add ground pork, beef, or turkey to it but if you have access to venison or duck or lamb or ANY meat then we encourage you to feed as many of these as you can! Variety is key!!
Meat is made up of many different amino acids and enzymes so the more you switch it up the better off your dogs gut will be!!
And yes, puppies can eat this. I start my 4 week old puppies on this 😊
Raw food is always best for your dogs but if you feel you need to start by cooking the meat then you can LIGHTLY cook it 😊
