We rounded up a few of our favorite spots around Bethany from peaceful trails to our go-to coffee stops to help you make the most of your next visit. Save this guide for your next Bethany getaway, or share it with your favorite dog-loving friend!

James Farm Ecological Preserve
One of our favorite places to unplug for a bit. Let your pup explore the trails, cool off with a swim, and take in some of the best marsh views around.

Coffee & Breakfast Favorites
Start your morning with a stop at Juice Box Juice Bar & Café, Clove & Cedar Coffeebar, or Beach Break Bakery & Café. They’re all perfect for fueling up before a day of exploring.

The Downtown Loop
Our favorite 2-mile walk winds through the heart of Bethany Beach, offering a quiet stroll just a few blocks from the ocean. It’s an easy way to start the day before heading to the sand. We recommend starting at Penn and going up to 5th, then down S Atlantic to Ceaderwood!

Pup-Approved Beaches
Whether your dog loves to chase waves or simply wander the shoreline, Dewey Beach and Fenwick Island State Park are two coastal favorites worth adding to your list.

One last tip: seasonal beach access, leash rules, and business hours can change throughout the year, so be sure to check each destination’s website before you head out. We hope to see you during your visit!
