10/28/26 UPDATE: Jackson’s surgery went well and he will be hospitalized for several days- he will then go into a medical foster home for several weeks. Calmness and rest must occur after this difficult surgery and recovery. Thank you for the prayers and donations for this very worthy pup. We will keep everyone updated on his progress. 🙏❤️🐾

❤️ Jackson is in surgery today, and he needs all of our collective love and prayers. ❤️
Right now, this precious 7-month-old pup is at Chesapeake Veterinary Surgical Specialists (CVSS) in Annapolis, undergoing a complex, life-saving scrotal urethrostomy to fix extensive injuries from his past. He was just transferred to us from ACCT Philly, and despite the severe pain he has been in, his sweet soul remains entirely unbroken.
Between his specialized surgery, advanced abdominal ultrasounds, and bloodwork, Jackson's medical expenses are estimated between $5,000 and $7,000.
We are officially opening Jackson’s Medical Fund today, and we desperately need our community's help to fund his road to recovery. Our shelter resources are stretched incredibly thin—we also just welcomed three more urgent medical intakes from the same shelter, and we will be sharing their stories with you very soon.
