Our sweet potato patch is planted and rain and cooler temps should help in establishing the young plants. We have some slips left over and have bundled them for the sales table, $2 per bundle. Everything else is $2 per pot including sesame and watermelon. These are our extras, so there aren't a lot of them. 201 Adams street by the sidewalk. All proceeds support our educational programs for the community.

It is spring and a young man's fancy turns to.... Sustainable Berea's Spring Gathering! Postponed from February due to the ice storm, our annual fundraising event is right around the corner. Good food, a fun program, and your support helps us to increase local food security and community health. Tickets purchased for the Winter Gathering are good for the Spring Gathering (and if you cannot attend the new date, you may receive a refund or donate your tickets). We are working hard to get our transplants into the ground at the BUF. As we do, we often end up with extra starts that we don't need. In that case, we put them on our sidewalk sales table at 201 Adams. So, its an eclectic mix and you don't know what you will find, but there are herbs, flowers, and vegetables. $2 each which is a low price because we want to share with the community. So stop by if you are in the area. All proceeds support our educational programs.
