Little eyes. Big souls. 🤍🐾

This stage right here is where foundations are built.
Confidence, curiosity, and calm don’t happen by accident, they’re intentionally nurtured, moment by moment.

These babies are learning:
✨ how to exist independently
✨ how to explore without panic
✨ how to self-regulate instead of shut down
✨ how to feel safe in new spaces, textures, and routines

Crate exposure, potty surfaces, new sounds, gentle handling… it’s all happening now, when their nervous systems are still writing the blueprint they’ll carry into adulthood.

We don’t rush this part.
We don’t cut corners.
And we don’t raise “just puppies.”

We raise emotionally sound, thoughtfully started souls, so their transition into your home feels natural, not traumatic.

🐾✨ Sound Socialization Day! ✨🐾

Today we kicked off sound socialization with our little Chihuahuas…and let me tell you, this stuff is so simple but sooo beneficial! We gently introduced a variety of everyday sounds in a calm, positive way to help our pups grow up resilient, confident, and adaptable.

Why it matters: exposing puppies to sounds early helps them feel less stressed or scared by noises later in life. Meaning fewer fear reactions, less anxiety, and better adaptability when life gets loud or surprising. Happy, calm dogs can focus more, learn faster, and handle new environments like champs. 

Keepin’ it positive, short, and paired with praise and treats…that’s the secret to helping them build confidence around the world’s soundtrack. 🎶🐶

The Tennessee litter is officially 3 weeks old, and whew… they are getting plump and those little personalities are really starting to shine ✨

Right now we’re carefully making notes on how each puppy handles new sounds, different handling exercises, and small changes in their environment. These early moments tell us so much—it’s where confidence, curiosity, and resilience begin to take shape.

Week 4 has always been my favorite, though. That’s when you really get to watch them start navigating the simple things we humans often take for granted—movement, balance, new textures, and figuring out how the world works one tiny, clumsy step at a time. It’s messy, awkward, and honestly a little magical.

And yes… we still have a few sweet souls seeking their new journey and forever families 💛
