LOST DOG FOUND
This girl Miley was found roaming 27th street infront of our Resort.
Lets help her find her way home.
We have her set up in our boarding Kennels while she waits for her family.
We have called the # on her tag but no Answer.
We will keep trying to call the number as well.
If you recognize Mikey, We will need proof of ownership before we can return her ❤️

Elsie has successfully found a new home today. The community has extended heartfelt love to Elsie, and we are eager to cheer her on. A delightful couple stopped by to meet Elsie earlier today, and the connection was instantaneous. Elsie possesses the gentle nature they were looking for. As the center of attention, she will embark on thrilling adventures to the beach and receive copious cuddles in bed. Those who have followed Elsie's journey to a new home will undoubtedly be smitten with her. We appreciate everyone who shared our previous posts about her ❤️

Meet Elsie ❤️, an exceptional Cattled Dog × Lab mix. She is a three-year-old that was recently surrendered to a local veterinary clinic with the intention of being euthanized due to her instinctual tendency to chase livestock, a trait inherent to her breed. This led to concerns from her previous owners regarding liability. Despite this, Elsie exhibits remarkable affection and kindness towards humans and other dogs.

Following her surrender, the veterinary clinic reached out to us for assistance in finding her a new home.
Prior to adoption, we took the necessary steps to rehabilitate and understand her behavior. Over the past month, we have discovered that Elsie thrives on human interaction and affection. She enjoys engaging in physical activities such as running and playing with other dogs.
While she may initially appear nervous when meeting new individuals, she quickly warms up to become a loving companion. We have also observed that she is not destructive or high-energy.
Instead, Elsie is a calm and gentle soul who would greatly benefit from a farm-style setting or a spacious area to roam with her future owners. Ideally, she desires to be by your side, accompanying you on walks. An optimal life for Elsie would be one where she can utilize her herding instincts, a fundamental aspect of her Cattle Dog heritage. She would also appreciate a life filled with snuggles and cuddles.

Ideally, she requires space to roam or an owner who can engage in regular physical activities with her. We were determined to prevent Elsie's euthanization and have made a commitment to find her a forever home where she can be an integral part of the family. If you believe Elsie is the perfect companion for you, please contact us to arrange a meeting.

Note: she doesnt NEED farm, although would be a good ranch hand. She just needs a family that will love her and take her on adventures

💚 Free Nail Trim Event Coming Up! 💚

The last time we hosted this event, we had wonderful families travel in from all across the greater Central Oregon region and we would truly love to meet even more of you this time.

We proudly welcome pet families from:
Deschutes • Crook • Harney • Klamath • Jefferson Counties

Many people think our services are limited to Deschutes County, but our reach is regional. We regularly serve families from Eastern Oregon, Western Oregon, and everywhere in between. While much of our current client base travels to us, we would love the opportunity to welcome more local families as well.

With how light our winter has been, we want to gently remind our community to plan ahead when it comes to emergency resources, especially for your pets.

Too often, we see families scrambling at the last minute to find a safe place for their animals during evacuations or unexpected situations. We want everyone to know you are not alone — and that we are here to support you.
In Central Oregon, lighter winters can often lead to heavier wildfire seasons. Having a plan in place before an emergency happens can make all the difference, and we want to help you feel prepared.

For over 40 years, Bend Pet Resort has been a safe place for pets and their people. Whenever we have availability during emergencies, we donate rooms to displaced families and their animals — because that’s what community is about.
Please help us by sharing this post and poster, especially with those who are new to Central Oregon or surrounding counties and may not know we exist yet. This information can truly help someone in a moment of need.

During emergencies, we often find ourselves up through the late-night hours welcoming pets at the last minute — and time and time again, our community shows up with donations of food, beds, crates, and supplies. That support means everything.
