They rushed him to their family vet, who recognized the severity of the situation and referred Bob to the specialized team at , where he was diagnosed with a serious urinary blockage. Without treatment, the situation could have become life-threatening quickly.

At just four months old, June was in critical condition after ingesting rat poison. Her blood was unable to clot, and her body was in shock.

Thanks to our generous donors who help make advanced veterinary care accessible, June received the plasma transfusions, a blood transfusion, and the treatment she needed to survive. She went home after several days in the hospital, and today she's back to her normal self, growing into the pup she was always meant to be.

Donor generosity is what makes care like this possible. Consider donating today to help more pets like June receive the treatment they need.

This week is National . If you ever suspect your pet has consumed something toxic, do not wait for symptoms to appear — contact a veterinarian immediately. Central Oregon families can reach out directly to Veterinary Referral Center of Central Oregon, the emergency team that helped save June's life.
