We have a process for a reason. I've seen this also

SO many remounts coming in from other shops in Oregon.
Taxidermists, this is unacceptable.
This was mounted last year, bugs ate the hide right off of the mount but the client wasn’t sure why. When I tore it apart it was filled with bug eggs & the skull plate had rotten meat filled with bugs inside.
Absolutely disgusting. Can’t wait to clean this buck up & remount him properly for our client.
