Professional grooming salon in Belvidere that puts your pets safety & comfort first. 🐾 We have over 30 years combined experience and we are canine & feline CPR/safety certified. My affinity for dogs has been a lifelong passion, evolving into a dedicated career in grooming. Continual growth is paramount to me, which is why I actively seek out opportunities to expand my knowledge and refine my skill

s through seminars and learning from industry peers. Completing a rigorous dog handling course underscores my unwavering commitment to prioritizing safety above all else. Your pet's comfort and well-being are non-negotiable priorities in my care. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is forging meaningful connections with the dogs I groom, treating each one with the same love and attention as if they were my own. Building trust and ensuring their comfort are central to every grooming session I undertake.

✨ All American Grooming Show — Day 2! ✨

Day 2 was another huge success! We spent the entire day soaking up knowledge through seminars on Asian Fusion by the amazing Blake Hernandez, sc******ng techniques by the incredible Jay Scruggs & Sue Zecco, business classes by Kelsey Ann Sexton and Denise Heroux, both the best, structure and anatomy, and so much more! ✂️

Of course, we couldn’t leave without doing a little more shopping too! We picked up some more great tools and products to bring back to the salon and can’t wait to put them to the test!

We also got to watch some of the incredible Poodle competitions today! 🐩🏆 Huge congratulations to all of the talented groomers who competed. The skill, creativity, and beautiful work on display was absolutely amazing! ❤️

We’re so excited for Day 3 tomorrow and one more day of learning, growing, and bringing new skills back to Paws on State Pet Salon! 🐾✨

✨ Day 1 of All American Groom Show! ✨

What a great day! Today we became certified in the 15 Coat Types and also took a handstripping class! ✂️

And we’re only getting started! We have two more days packed full of seminars and education so we can continue improving our skills and better serve all of our amazing clients and their pups.

Of course, we also had to do a little shopping. We picked up a bunch of new, exciting products and tools that we can’t wait to bring back to the salon and try out!

We’re so excited for everything we’re learning and can’t wait to see what the next two days bring! 🐾✨
