Description
New York Bully Crew is a 501c3 not-for-profit rescue organization founded in December 2010. We specialize in rescuing Pitbulls, however no animal in dire need of rescue is turned away. NYBC strives to bring positive attention to the most loyal breed one could encounter, and give second chances to those who have been discarded by humans simply because of what they are…a Pitbull. Finding

loving and responsible homes for each and every rescue is our main objective. We at NYBC firmly believe that there are NO bad dogs, just bad owners, and educating the public is a must if the bully breeds are to have a chance of survival in today’s society. Aside from rehabilitating and placing our rescues in a safe environment, another priority for the NYBC is to inform the public of the despicable acts against Pitbulls that go on everyday. Dog fighting, and the cruelties associated with it, is a huge problem in the world of Pitbulls. This horrific “sport” can alter a dog’s wonderful temperament into a fearful, scarred, possibly aggressive animal that can be viewed as a danger and threat to society. At no fault of their own, these loving, intelligent, athletic and incredibly loyal dogs are being prosecuted by the masses, when the real culprits are the people who put them in these horrible situations. Unfortunately, these circumstances have many dogs finding themselves in kill shelters that utilize inhumane methods of euthanasia. This dreadful situation is compounded by negative attention in the media. Because of this, we will continue to advocate for the breed, and educate the public about these issues. New York Bully Crew will assist in all phases of rescue. Please do not hesitate to contact us in regards to any form of abuse or neglect, regardless of breed. NYBC is on Facebook, Twitter and iGive (we will receive a percentage of your sale as a donation at hundreds of retailers when you shop through iGive). ❤️‍🩹 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗘 • Just look at her eyes… they’re finally starting to open. A few days ago, they were swollen completely shut.

Thanks to her medicated ointment, applied five times a day, Minnie is finally getting some relief.

But she’s not out of the woods yet.
Minnie still needs double eye surgery on July 23rd to fix her painful entropion : a condition that makes her eyelids curl inward, causing her lashes to scratch her eyes constantly.

Minnie is young, she is only 1 year old, and despite everything, she’s still wagging her tail, giving kisses, and being her sweet, loving self.

🆘 We are urgently seeking a foster home for Minnie. She deserves to heal in a loving space… not a kennel. Please consider opening your heart and home.

We’re also asking for donations to help cover her surgery and care. Every dollar makes a difference for Minnie.

🥹 𝗔 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗮𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗼 𝗕𝗲 • After losing the only home they had known for nine years, Mia & Kendall’s story has taken a beautiful turn… they’ve been adopted!

This wonderful family drove from far away just to meet these two sweethearts, and when they did, it felt like fate.

Heartbreakingly, this family lost both of their beloved dogs… who looked just like Mia & Kendall.

It was an instant connection. The kind of meeting where you just know they were meant to find each other.

While we were devastated when Mia & Kendall were returned to us after nearly a decade, due to their former family splitting up, we’re now thrilled knowing they’ll be loved and spoiled for the rest of their lives.

Together, this new family will help each other heal. And that’s the kind of second chance every dog deserves.

Happy life, Mia & Kendall 🐶🐶!

🚨 𝗗𝗼𝗱𝗱 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗨𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗢𝗪 • Today, Dodd had a good day, and we’re holding onto that.
Despite his recent muscle loss and refusal to eat, he’s now in foster with our amazing friends at Shelter Dog Strong Productions LLC , who are literally hand-feeding him. He ate every meal and treat today, and that alone feels like a small miracle.

But tomorrow everything could change.
Dodd is scheduled for an urgent ultrasound, and our vet fears he may have an intestinal obstruction. His x-rays and bloodwork gave no clear answers, and now we’re bracing for the worst, although we are still hopeful.

We are terrified of what they might find. But no matter what, we are not giving up on Dodd.

He’s been with us since 2020, we are all he’s ever had. And right now, we need your help to fight for him.

This was not an expense we were prepared for.
We are drowning in medical bills, and this emergency came out of nowhere.

Please don’t scroll past this. Please help us give Dodd a real chance.

We will update you tomorrow. For now, please keep him in your thoughts and send anything you can, no amount is too small.

❤️‍🩹 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗲, 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗮 • The NYPD officer who rescued her first, reached out to us last night, and followed up with more of her story.

Her real name is 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗲, and she’s only 𝟭 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗹𝗱. Her family was being evicted, and with nowhere else to turn, they surrendered her at the 103rd Precinct. Sadly, her painful eyes weren’t even a concern to them.

Minnie suffers from severe entropion: a condition where the eyelids roll inward, forcing the eyelashes to rub directly against the eye. It’s excruciating, and she’s likely been suffering in silence for months.

But Minnie? She’s still full of love. She wags her tail. She gives kisses. She gets along with other dogs. She is the definition of gentle and sweet.

Her surgery is scheduled for July 23rd, and while we wait, we’re applying medicated ointment five times a day to give her some relief.

But she needs a foster home. Somewhere loving and safe, where she can rest, heal, and be treated like the baby she is.

We weren’t her first family, but we refuse to be her last stop.

Please, help us give Minnie the chance at life she never had.

🐶 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗵𝗼𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 • Our beloved Tahoe has been a part of our lives since 2018, and it truly breaks our hearts to see him still waiting for a family.

We rescued Tahoe from a shelter in North Carolina after he was sadly injured by a car. Although his original owner stepped forward, she chose not to reclaim him when we informed her about the FHO surgery he needed and the requirement for him to stay indoors during his recovery. Out of compassion, we stepped in for Tahoe, but our hearts ache as we search for his forever home.

Tahoe would thrive in a loving environment with older children aged 12 and up, as he feels a bit uncertain around little ones. If you have older kids and are in search of a loyal companion who can bring warmth and joy to your life, please consider welcoming Tahoe into your home.

Let’s make his dream—and ours—a reality by finding Tahoe the loving family he deserves. He has waited far too long for his happy ending.

Could you be the one to bring Tahoe into your family? If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this wonderful boy, please visit nybullycrew.org or click the link in our bio to fill out an adoption application today.

🚨 𝗗𝗼𝗱𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗨𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝘄 • This week, we noticed something was off with Dodd. He was losing weight and muscle mass, so we doubled his food and booked a vet appointment. But today… he stopped eating entirely. We knew it was urgent.

Thankfully, our vet was able to see him right away as an emergency, and our incredible friends at rushed him in.

Dodd underwent bloodwork and x-rays, and while those results came back clear, our veterinarian suspects something serious: a possible intestinal blockage. An ultrasound has been scheduled, but until then… we’re holding our breath.

Dodd has been with us since 2020. We’ve been his only family. We can’t let him down.

We need your help to cover the cost of his medical care. Every donation, no matter how small, gives Dodd a fighting chance.

The good news? Dodd is now in foster with . It might be the only home he’s ever truly known, and we’re beyond grateful to know that he is finally getting the love he needs.

Please keep Dodd in your thoughts. And if you’re able, please donate toward his care.

Thank you.

🐾 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿 & 𝗭𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗼𝗿𝗸, and we need a foster home desperately.

Jasper & Zara had a terrible life before their rescue.
They were found inside an overturned trash bin, desperately rummaging for scraps. They were starving, frightened, and completely alone.

The person who found them said they were skin and bones, and were scared. They had no tags, no microchips, and no one looking for them.

Since being rescued, Jasper & Zara have began healing physically and mentally. We now need your help to continue their healing journey in the comfort of a loving home. The rescue is no place for them, as they are still scared at times, but who could blame them after everything they went through.

They still have a journey ahead, and we need your help.

They need a foster family that will help them grow into happy and confident dogs.

What they need most now is a loving home and we would be forever grateful if you could open your home to them. Fill out an application on our website www.nybullycrew.org to give these two cuties a chance.

❤️‍🩹 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗮 • Yesterday , we got a call from the NYPD 103rd Precinct. A young pittie had been surrendered right at the station, and officers weren’t sure what was wrong. They thought maybe allergies, because her eyes were so painfully swollen.

But the moment we saw her, we knew this wasn’t allergies. This was entropion, a condition where the eyelids curl inward, causing the eyelashes to rub against the eyeball. It’s constantly painful and blinding for her.

Poor sweetheart has been suffering in silence.

We don’t know how long she’s been in this pain, but we do know that we will get her the surgery she needs.

We couldn’t let that happen.

We named her Prada, and despite everything, this little girl is pure love. She’s sweet, gentle, and wags her tail at everyone she meets. She even gets along with other dogs.

Her eyes are clearly bothering her, and it’s heartbreaking to watch, but there’s good news! Her surgery is scheduled for June 23rd.

Until then, we’re hoping someone can step up to foster her. A loving home would make all the difference for her recovery. And in the meantime, we need your help to cover the cost of her surgery and medical care.

Please consider donating or fostering Prada.
