Scout and her handler, Tim, recently celebrated a very special milestone: their 200th visit as a Pet Partners team.

That’s 200 visits filled with tail wags, happy greetings, and moments of connection shared far beyond home. Together, they’ve visited hospitals, spent time with children at their local library, supported college students during finals week, and brought extra smiles to nursing stations during National Nurses Week.

When a school community is hurting, comfort can come in quiet ways.

After a tragic car accident deeply impacted a school community, Stanley the therapy dog was there as students arrived at school. Later that morning, Scott the school principal, sat on the floor with Stanley and held him close before returning to his work.

This is the power of the human-animal bond. Pet Partners Animal-Assisted Crisis Response teams are trained to support people during hard moments with care, safety, and compassion.

Stanley’s presence gave Scott a moment to pause, breath, and feel supported.
