Adopt your best friend today! On October 9, 2013 I brought home my first puppy, Maggie. I always knew she was special!

A couple of years later we were discussing opening a rescue, and Maggie's Mutt Mission was born. After becoming involved with the No Kill movement in St. Clair County, IL, several volunteers saw a need for more rescues and foster homes in our county. On May 18, 2017, with the support of Amy King (my TNR/rescue partner in crime), Kurt Swanson, Lynn Haas, and Julie Voss, Maggie's Mutt Mission offici

ally opened. Hanna jumped in right away and helped a LOT! Two days later we rescued our first litter of kittens! We are a small TNR and rescue group with big dreams! We began doing TNR along the way, so we are now known as St. Clair TNR & Rescue, a nonprofit volunteer organization. She was dumped at a Shiloh dog park when we stepped up and took her in.

She is available for adoption or foster. Please help this girl if you can.

She is stressed at the shelter and would really benefit in a home. She has been with us for 2 years too long! Please help this girl. šŸ™

A bath is a good way to start the week!

This week weā€™re featuring Chance, Holly, and Caesar. They may still have a little ways to go on their journey, but they cleaned up nicely and were happy to get some extra love and attention.

All three are looking for foster or forever homes, and weā€™ll be sharing more about each of them throughout the week.

For now, enjoy their spa day and help us spread the word. Letā€™s find these deserving dogs the homes theyā€™ve been waiting for. šŸ¾

Our rescue is growing, and unfortunately, so is the number of animals that need help. As more animals come into our care, the need for medical treatment, food, supplies, and foster support continues to grow as well.
