Fall Fun Day at Eagle Valley Equestrian Center!

Yesterday, our Eagle Valley family came together for our annual Fall Fun Day, and what a wonderful day it was!

From pumpkin painting and scarecrow making to our horse fashion show and trick-or-treating through the barns, there was no shortage of fall fun! We even had a *wickedly* special visit from Cruella DeVil and her three Dalmatians!

Of course, the day wouldn't have been complete without sharing lunch, enjoying plenty of snacks, and making memories with the people (and horses!) who make Eagle Valley so special.

This fall festival has become a beloved tradition, bringing together our Eagle Valley Equestrian Center family for a day filled with laughter, creativity, friendship, and a little Halloween magic. It's traditions like these that remind us that Eagle Valley is about so much more than riding—it's about the friendships we build and the community we share.

A huge thank-you to everyone who helped make the day so special! We hope you enjoy these snapshots of our Fall Fun Day as much as we enjoyed making the memories.

Always a part of the Eagle Valley family and forever best friends. Happy Retirement Ali and Bubbs!

Ali & Bubbs, are two lesson horses at Eagle Valley Equestrian Center who have carried nervous beginners, helped riders find their confidence, and been part of countless memories.

They’ve helped dreams take shape, one ride at a time. Planting the seeds of success in the saddle...and in life.

But now, their story is turning a beautiful new page as their days of teaching are coming to an end, and it’s finally their turn to simply be.

No more lessons, no more little feet in stirrups. Just sunshine on their coats, soft grass beneath their feet, and long, lazy afternoons in the pasture. And the best part? They will have each other.

Together, they’ll trade arena circles for open pastures, hard work for lazy afternoons, and lessons for the simple joy of being horses. They’ve spent their lives giving so much to others. Now, they get to grow old together, side by side, as best friends.

They are not loved by just one person; they are loved by many.

We love you both and thank you for years of love. Happy Retirement Ali & Bubbs!

Summer Horse Camp 2026 came to an end today.

We packed a lot of activites into 5 days. The camers rode horses, bouncy balls and the water slide, cleaned the barns/ stalls, did arts projects and played arena volley ball every day.

Each day we introduced something new. Like horse trailer basics, tack cleaning, a scavenger hunt, etc.

Today we limited outside time and didn't exercise the horses as per suggested AQI guidelines. But the students did learn emergency dismounts! Dewey, Leo and Ernie were very confused by the smoke and why their riders kept falling off of them! But were true champions. Everyone did a great job and hopefully gained a skill they will never need.

We also had the horses paint with their muzzles. The paper and paint were placed in a zip top bag and the bag had molasses drizzled on it for the horse to lick and nose around. The results were beautiful paintings that the campers took home.

The best artist was (drum roll please) BUBBS! Her art was amazing and she loved painting...or maybe she loved the sweet taste of molasses!

We distributed our Summer Horse Camp Shirts, each year the campers pick the next year's shirt color. They picked purple for this year's shirts. A special thanks to Karen Shilling Wertz for our amazing shirts!

We also took some time to take some group photos around the farm.

A huge thank you to the families who entrusted us with their children, the campers we were fun, excited and worked hard, and our amazing staff members who are mostly volunteers and are all absolutely spectacular humans.

Time to start planning our Fall Fun Day. We promised the kids we'd post details soon!

Twas day four of horse camp and the riders did great! Nearly each student learned a new gait!

We cleaned tack, painted, rode horses and more then ended the day with a volleyball war!

Smoky skies filles the air but our campers were resilient with energy to spare.

Now it's off to sleep for our horses, campers and staff as tomorrow will be a day to play, have fun, learn and laugh.

July 15 signifies National 'I love horses' day.

Summer Horse Camp's third day was marked by an action-packed schedule featuring horse riding, water slide fun, horse baths, volleyball matches, painting sessions, bandana pillow crafting, bingo, and an exciting game of bouncy ball barrel racing.

Today we celebrated day two of Summer Horse Camp.

We rode bouncy balls (balancing exercises), the giant water slide, and the horses! We also made paintings, designed our dream farms, had an egg hunt, and played arena volleyball!

Time to rest up for tomorrow!

Our Summer Horse Camp 2026 kicked off today!

Our campers spent the day riding horses, learning about farm maintenance task such as cleaning stalls, had a clinic with Coach Chris, played volleyball, tie-dyed helmet bags, rode the water slide, adopted their bouncy balls for balancing activities, played horse trivia, had a farm scavenger hunt, and ended the day with a competitive bingo game and a snack!

We're tired, hungry and excited for tomorrow!

Today we celebrated our first Fall Farm Funday!

The festivities included a hayride, riding relays, horse trivia, scarecrow making (be sure to wave to them as you drive by the farm), trick or treating through the barns and a special visits from Scooby Doo and Superman/ Wonder Woman!
