Rathvinden Farm is a regenerative flower farm dedicated to sustainable agriculture, education, art, and animal welfare.

Rathvinden started as a dream to create a place of refuge and healing for homeless domesticated animals. The aim was to provide a healthy and comfortable environment, socialization, and if needed, rehabilitation, to prepare animals for permanent adoption with new families. Years later, inspired by the young people who have brought their ideas and enthusiasm to the project, the vision has expanded to include an organic flower farm and educational center. Rathvinden Farm is located on a fifty-acre site in the Gallatin Valley of Montana. It's goal is to promote animal rescue and welfare, organic and integrative agriculture practices, art, sustainability, and education. Rathvinden hosts a variety of educational opportunities to the surrounding communities with an emphasis on land stewardship, self-reliance, agriculture, creativity, and sustainability. We are excited to be part of a growing network of permaculture sites across Montana and the US that are working together to exchange information, share resources, and support each other's dreams and efforts. Cold weather is in the forecast so we are harvesting all the dahlias while we still can!

Update:

Our u-pick fields received a frost this past Saturday evening so we’ve made the decision to close u-pick for the season. We are so grateful to the amazing volunteers who helped run the show and to all of the folks who came and picked with us! It’s very special to build community through flowers and we can’t wait to continue to share them with you in the form of dried wreaths and fresh flowers in seasons to come!

We had so much fun with Megan at the Glō Luxury Oils Facial Workshop we put on in our barn this past March that we decided to offer another opportunity for self-care on Saturday October 10!

This workshop is equal parts education and indulgence; whether you’re skincare-curious, refining your routine, or just craving a relaxing morning, you’ll leave with practical knowledge, a radiant complexion, and a deeper connection to intentional care, both inside and out.

Megan will walk participants through a luxurious 45-60 min facial using 9 Glō products and warm, cloud soft face towels between each step to leave you fresh, dewy, and educated on organic skin care rituals. These facials are chock full of education around how diet and lifestyle affect our skin as well as how, why, and when to use your Glō products.

Participants can expect to sit back, sip a nourishing and delicious beverage + wholesome snack, and enjoy a fully pampered moment in the beautiful Rathvinden barn overlooking the Bridger Range.

The rumors are true! Our u-pick cutting garden is officially open for the season beginning this upcoming Tuesday July 28th from 4-7pm. We will be open for community picking every Tuesday evening from there on out until the end of the growing season!

Even though it’s late July, it’s still “early season” for flowers in Montana, so expect to see some rows in full bloom, and others still working their way towards their full potential. Variety is the spice of life and the joy of u-pick flowers is experiencing the flow of the season with every visit! :)
