Animal Haven Veterinary Center

Animal Haven Veterinary Center SuperMedia Content Disclaimer: http://spag.es/hjh9DV Our goal is to provide compassionate and complete medical care and guidance throughout your pet’s life.

At Animal Haven Veterinary Center, your pet's health and well-being is our primary concern, and we know that the health-care partnership between an owner and a veterinarian is extremely important. We will clearly present to you all possible treatment options and together we will choose the best therapeutic option for your pet. To support this belief, we will try to explain what is going on with yo

ur pet through verbal client education and handouts in order to detail specific conditions we may have diagnosed your pet with and procedures (such as blood work) we may have done or recommended for your pet. We feel this will better enable you to have an understanding of what we are doing and allow you to understand and more fully participate in your pet’s health and veterinary care. We will strive to resolve your pet’s problems in a timely and cost-effective manner while minimizing discomfort and providing compassionate care for your family’s friend. Animal Haven Veterinary Center got its start in 1999 as a mobile practice. Dr. Brady and Dr. Fagraeus purchased a 26-foot mobile unit that allowed them to provide complete veterinary care, including surgeries and x-rays. In 2004, a stationary hospital (located on route 40 in Bear) was added. Most appointments are seen at our stationary location, but housecalls are still offered. Housecalls are done by one of the doctors and a technician coming into your home to examine your pet.Because we have been doing housecalls for over 10 years now, we are very accustomed to the unique aspect of conducting housecalls and are able to provide exceptional care to pets through our housecall service. Owners with multiple pets or those finding it difficult to travel to a stationary clinic, will find that our willingness to continue providing housecalls provides a viable alternative to traditional in-hospital visits. Animal Haven Veterinary Center provides all veterinary services from routine examinations to sick patient care, as well as surgical and dental services. We are extremely excited and proud of our practice and the MANY ways we are able to provide complete, compassionate care to our patients and their owners!!!

This is our “Hold On” litter!! Meet mama, Denise, and her babies: Nick, Kevin and Joe-Anne 😹😺❤️🐾. Who gets it ? Check out the music video we posted earlier and will post again after this post launches to help make the connection!

This beautiful feline family’s story:
As a mechanic was driving to work, he was certain he could hear a cat meowing. He checked numerous times - nothing to be seen and the sound would stop until…. He would commence his drive again. Further inspection once at his destination eventually revealed not a mechanical issue but rather - a cat clinging deeply atop the exhaust system🙀! Mom, Denise, had to “Hold On” during the drive. All of her paw pads unfortunately are burnt on their tips as a result 😢 but we are treating them with topical meds and therapy laser treatments and they are already looking better. 😺

And then…. While getting her out from within the depths of his car exhaust, the mechanic realized there were kittens in the bumper/fender - three babies: Nick, Kevin, and Joe - Anne! Our little Jonas Brothers family - named because of their journey to “Hold On” to survive an unexpected drive and now while heading down their paths to forever homes! 🐾❤️😺

Weird post from a veterinary office right? A Jonas Brothers lyric video! 🙀😹. Well there’s a creative reason for that and it has to do with our newest feline family (soon-to-be-available for adoption) of three 3 week-old kittens and their mama who were dumped at a house and then had a crazy way of being found! Stay tuned - then the song, lyrics and this post will make sense!

Common cat vaccination myths often cause confusion for pet owners, leading to unnecessary risks for their pets. Dispelling these misconceptions—such as believing indoor cats don't need shots or that a kitten's first vaccines provide immunity for life—ensures better feline health and disease prevention.
