Tomorrow I'll be dropping off another batch of handmade martingale collars to City of Baytown Animal Services . ❤️🐾

These collar donations are one of my favorite ways to give back to the shelter dogs in our community. Every item sold through Pup Love And More helps make donations like this possible, and I am incredibly grateful to everyone who supports my small business and helps me continue this mission.

While I'm excited to deliver these colorful collars, my heart is heavy knowing the shelter is currently completely full and in desperate need of fosters and adopters. There are so many wonderful dogs waiting for a chance, and right now every open kennel matters.

If you've ever considered fostering, please reach out to the shelter and learn more. Fostering provides dogs with a safe place to decompress, helps them show their true personalities, and quite literally saves lives by creating space for another animal in need.

Hi friends, June Bug here. 🐾

Mom is taking me to the vet today, and it got me thinking about something important.

The Fourth of July may still seem a little ways away, but if you have a sensitive pup like me, now is the time to start planning ahead. Those loud fireworks can be really scary for some of us. Trust me...I know a thing or two about being nervous.

If your dog struggles with fireworks, thunderstorms, or other loud noises, please don't wait until the last minute to talk with your veterinarian. There are so many ways they can help make the holiday less stressful and frightening for your furry family members.

Sometimes being brave means asking for a little extra help, and that's okay. ❤️

While you're getting prepared for the holiday, please take a moment to double-check that your pet's microchip information and ID tags are current. Every year, shelters and rescues see an increase in lost pets after fireworks send frightened dogs searching for a way to escape. A properly registered microchip can make all the difference in helping them find their way back home.

June Bug Update 🐾❤️

Today is a big day for our sweet, sensitive June Bug... her very first family outing and fishing trip! 🎣

She was definitely a little nervous at first, but as long as she could tuck herself beside me (or under my chair), she felt safe and brave enough to take it all in. Watching her slowly gain confidence and experience new things is one of the greatest gifts.

We're taking life at June's pace and helping her learn that the world isn't quite as scary as she once thought. Every new experience is a tiny victory for this girl.

The truth is, I don't think I'll ever trust anyone else to dogsit this precious soul. If June can't go, I'm probably not going either. ❤️ We are bonded in a way that's hard to explain. After everything she's been through and everything we've overcome together, she's become my little shadow, my sidekick, and one of my heart dogs.

So here's to many more adventures, taken one cautious step at a time. We're so proud of you, June Bug. 🥰🐾❤️

P.S. She has spent most of this trip making sure she's touching me somehow, which honestly feels pretty perfect. 🥹💕

🐾 Meet Possum 🐾

Possum is estimated to be a 3-year-old neutered pit bull mix with the sweetest personality. This happy, playful boy loves making friends and is currently sharing a kennel with another dog.

He enjoys rough-and-rowdy play and would love an active home where he can run, play, and soak up attention. Despite his playful energy, Possum is an affectionate boy who’s ready to be someone’s best friend.

Possum is currently looking for a foster or adopter to help him get out of the shelter and into a loving home. If you’re interested in giving this sweet boy a chance, feel free to reach out!
