it's the best day of the week.....Wednesday and you know what that means... Wishing all of our friends & students a very special CONGRATULATIONS!

Here is a special edition of WOW Wednesday starting with our submissions from our friends & students who attended - CPE Nationals 2025 -

- Darlene and Legend (Golden Retriever) : Legend & I earned 5 new Qs at the CPE Nationals to go towards our CATE. Then I noticed on the Standard Results page for 20 inch, Level C, Legend came in 8th place on Saturday out of 26 dogs and 3rd place on Sunday out of 26 dogs. I was thrilled to read this especially when Standard is my least favorite because I have a +/- contact jumper. But Legend held himself together & hit 2 days out of 3 days of contacts. That’s a WOW for us, a Win & an Accomplishment. My boy worked hard & made my dreams come true by bringing us to Nationals. We enjoyed every moment we were in Chicopee, Massachusetts.

- Rose & Georgia (Rottweiler): Went to our first CPE Nationals and had a wonderful time! We earned 4 Q Ribbons. So proud of my girlie for having fun on the courses!

- Diane & Cooper & Aurora & Beau (Border Collies): We had a great time, with so many good things! This was Beau’s 1st Nationals and he competed in Speedway. He qualified in 14/16 with 2 medal placements. He’s coming along and showed me he loves to work! Aurora & Cooper went 32/32 with a total of 10 medal placements including 2 1sts for Aurora in Drag Race! Cooper ar 10 ½ still loving the Game! We had a nice showing in agility despite the crazy weather, just happy with what we accomplished.

- Barbara & Joy (Sheltie) - Darlene and I won second place in the stall decorating contest. Some pictures of my guys at some of the other stalls. Joy Q’d in 10/12 runs in speedway. Only two ques in agility-(first time running on dirt/sandy soil or wet grass. She was sniffy and didn’t make time)colors and wildcard. but we had a good time . our first national competition! The Long Island team had a great time and presence .

- Diane & Meerin (Standard Poodle): Meerin & I had a great time competing at the CPE National Agility Trials last week in Northampton, Massachusetts. We got 4 Q's in Level C and also had some very nice runs in our other classes. The weather was rather challenging with LOTS of heavy rain but CPE handled those challenges spectacularly, even moving ring locations around at the last minute. I was really proud of Meerin this past week. She's never run outside before or on dirt, sand or grass and ran on all 3 here. She's also never run at a multiple ring trial with dogs working in rings next to her and she handled that perfectly and kept her focus on me and on running the course. And, for her, one of the best parts of the trip was she got to play HOTEL for 5 nights hahaha... Also big thanks to our instructor, Teri Nolan, for helping us become the team we are.

- Sandy & Gidget (Golden Retriever) - Gidget and I attended to CPE Speedway Nationals where she earned enough points to complete her CPE Speedway Bronze Legendary Title. We also won a prize for being one of the first teams to complete the CPE New England Club's photo challenge by visiting all 6 states photo ops. We enjoyed our time with our Long Island friends as well as making friends from all over the country.

- Cindy & Wasabi (Chinese Crested) - Our first CPE National is a wrap. Sabi performed well under some challenging conditions, earning 8Q’s out of a possible 9. Very proud of my girl! C-ATE C-ATCH Gingery’s Wasabi.

- Bonnie & Thunder (German Shepherd) - Thunder Qd 7 out of 9 runs in Level C and in 3 Standard Runs got 2 Firsts and 1 Third Place. He achieved High in Standard Veteran and Second Place in Veteran Games. It was wonderful planning and sharing our first time at Nationals with our Long Island Family.

WOW Wednesday 06/04/25: Doggie U Students & Friends -

- Suzanne & Gander (Wheaten Terrier) - My Wheaten Terrier Gander attained his RACH title on Saturday at the Riverhead Kennel Club Rally trial under Judge Cheryl Pratt. He is the 3rd Wheaten RACH and is now also the #1 Lifetime Rally Wheaten. It is also the first Championship I have had on my wheaten that was my doing. In addition to being a happy, fun dog, he is a talented one too!

- Susan & Sammy (Pomeranian) - Sam earned his Rally Novice title yesterday! He was 1st place in the morning with a score of 97 and 2nd place in the afternoon (tie score of 99 but the other dog had a faster time!) His scores have been super high, and I am so proud of him. Many thanks to our amazing instructor Mara who goes above and beyond!

- John & Storm (Schipperke): Well, this was a big weekend filled with 3 AKC trials by the awesome Riverhead Kennel Club at Dog Works in NY. Very exciting to get our AKC Rally Choice Title. Though we don’t usually do more than one weekend day of competitions, we ventured back on Sunday and got our second Q in AKC Obedience Novice!

oh my goodness it's a lengthy one......

CONGRATULATIONS to all of our amazing Staff, Students & Friends!

WOW Wednesday 5/28/25:

- (Owner) Rolissa & Split (Biewer Terrier) – Competed last weekend at the Toy Dog Cluster in Rhode Island! A fun filled weekend with some friends of Doggie U, Mr. Split only accumulated a leg in “Jumpers” for agility! And also received some exciting news from the Biewer Terrier Club of America – Explained in our picture! We are so honored & proud!

- (Instructor) Logan & Eugene (Beauceron) - To say the Jersey Shore Cluster was a success for Ugene would be an understatement! He tried dock diving for the first time and absolutely loved it! By the end of the weekend, he earned his DJ (Dock Junior - which is five splashes in the 10–14-foot range). His best jump distance measured 11’ 9”. Not too bad for a complete newbie. He also received his CAA and DCAT titles this weekend. Ugene proved himself to be the wonderful boy we know and love by earning his CGCA this weekend. Just when we felt like Ugene had given all he had he said, “hold my hat” and got Best of Breed for one point! The next day he also got BOB by default but continued to surprise us in the owner handler herding group ring! He showed beautifully, and even though he sighed at the judge emphasizing how tired he was, he got a NOHS Group 2! We’ve never had a more successful weekend with Ugene, and we are unbelievably proud of this sweet, adorable boy! This is certainly one for the books.

- Doreen & Evah (Labrador Retriever): Marked her 3rd birthday by earning her Elite 2 title, and placing 1st in one search and 3rd overall of 29 teams at an NACSW Elite trial in Norwich, CT.

- Sylvia , Checkers and Keke (Havanese) earned their AKC Rally Novice titles and 1st legs in AKC Rally Intermediate, and Regan passed her two AKC ATT temperament tests, her first leg towards her Fetch Novice title, and Reserve Winners in Conformation at the Nor’ East Toy Cluster this past weekend in Rhode Island.

-Denise with Copper, Ozzy, Calvin (all beagles): We rented the ring on Friday at Doggie U and they all did amazing. Ozzy is learning his weaves, Calvin is learning to jump over the jumps and Copper is learning how to stay with mom and not follow his nose. They All did amazing.

- Gen/Gwen/Joe/Joe & Eddie (All American): With much enthusiasm earned his BCAT this weekend for AKC FastCat in Freehold, NJ. His best times of 7.14 seconds accomplished. Our family couldn't have been prouder. With a big shout out to our instructor Logan for helping out to find the best way to get him in his "starting gate'!

- John & Storm (Schipperke): Had some Fun a big AKC Rally day at Golden Rule in NJ! So proud of Storm for overcoming distractions right from the start and not only finishing our first round in the ring for Choice… but amazing all by getting our highest Choice score so far with a 94! All those crazy focus and attention games we do must be working! That was a great start to an even better double trial day including our…* 7th and 8th AKC Rally Choice Qs * 11th and 12th AKC Rally Master Qs * 11th and 12th AKC Triple MEA Qs * Plus placement ribbons and 6 of 8 runs getting high 91+ scores to count for those coveted RACH Championship points!

- Dawn & Gully (Beagle) - I would like to say how proud I am of my Gully who used to pull and bark incessantly on walks. After private obedience lessons with Rolissa he walks on loose leash and if he wants to bark at another dog walking in the street, I can easily redirect him. Thanks to Rolissa and Alex for believing in us!

ALSO Congratulations to our English Cocker Spaniel friends Lisa, Marcia & Barbara who hosted & compteted at their ECS Nationals over the past 4 days! Hope you all had a blast!
