oh my goodness it's a lengthy one......
CONGRATULATIONS to all of our amazing Staff, Students & Friends!
WOW Wednesday 5/28/25:
- (Owner) Rolissa & Split (Biewer Terrier) – Competed last weekend at the Toy Dog Cluster in Rhode Island! A fun filled weekend with some friends of Doggie U, Mr. Split only accumulated a leg in “Jumpers” for agility! And also received some exciting news from the Biewer Terrier Club of America – Explained in our picture! We are so honored & proud!
- (Instructor) Logan & Eugene (Beauceron) - To say the Jersey Shore Cluster was a success for Ugene would be an understatement! He tried dock diving for the first time and absolutely loved it! By the end of the weekend, he earned his DJ (Dock Junior - which is five splashes in the 10–14-foot range). His best jump distance measured 11’ 9”. Not too bad for a complete newbie. He also received his CAA and DCAT titles this weekend. Ugene proved himself to be the wonderful boy we know and love by earning his CGCA this weekend. Just when we felt like Ugene had given all he had he said, “hold my hat” and got Best of Breed for one point! The next day he also got BOB by default but continued to surprise us in the owner handler herding group ring! He showed beautifully, and even though he sighed at the judge emphasizing how tired he was, he got a NOHS Group 2! We’ve never had a more successful weekend with Ugene, and we are unbelievably proud of this sweet, adorable boy! This is certainly one for the books.
- Doreen & Evah (Labrador Retriever): Marked her 3rd birthday by earning her Elite 2 title, and placing 1st in one search and 3rd overall of 29 teams at an NACSW Elite trial in Norwich, CT.
- Sylvia , Checkers and Keke (Havanese) earned their AKC Rally Novice titles and 1st legs in AKC Rally Intermediate, and Regan passed her two AKC ATT temperament tests, her first leg towards her Fetch Novice title, and Reserve Winners in Conformation at the Nor’ East Toy Cluster this past weekend in Rhode Island.
-Denise with Copper, Ozzy, Calvin (all beagles): We rented the ring on Friday at Doggie U and they all did amazing. Ozzy is learning his weaves, Calvin is learning to jump over the jumps and Copper is learning how to stay with mom and not follow his nose. They All did amazing.
- Gen/Gwen/Joe/Joe & Eddie (All American): With much enthusiasm earned his BCAT this weekend for AKC FastCat in Freehold, NJ. His best times of 7.14 seconds accomplished. Our family couldn't have been prouder. With a big shout out to our instructor Logan for helping out to find the best way to get him in his "starting gate'!
- John & Storm (Schipperke): Had some Fun a big AKC Rally day at Golden Rule in NJ! So proud of Storm for overcoming distractions right from the start and not only finishing our first round in the ring for Choice… but amazing all by getting our highest Choice score so far with a 94! All those crazy focus and attention games we do must be working! That was a great start to an even better double trial day including our…* 7th and 8th AKC Rally Choice Qs * 11th and 12th AKC Rally Master Qs * 11th and 12th AKC Triple MEA Qs * Plus placement ribbons and 6 of 8 runs getting high 91+ scores to count for those coveted RACH Championship points!
- Dawn & Gully (Beagle) - I would like to say how proud I am of my Gully who used to pull and bark incessantly on walks. After private obedience lessons with Rolissa he walks on loose leash and if he wants to bark at another dog walking in the street, I can easily redirect him. Thanks to Rolissa and Alex for believing in us!
ALSO Congratulations to our English Cocker Spaniel friends Lisa, Marcia & Barbara who hosted & compteted at their ECS Nationals over the past 4 days! Hope you all had a blast!
