We have the SWEETEST silver face joining our adoptables today...say hi to Bernice!

This old lady came to us as a stray and went unclaimed. She's been brought up-to-date, heartworm and lyme tested (negative!), and flea treated....she has some typical old dog lumps and bumps, some arthritis in the rear that would likely benefit from some joint supplements, and is estimated at at least 10 years old - likely older. She's just looking for a quiet place with a comfy bed or two to retire...could that be you? Somebody you know? Help us share this post, and let's get Bernie out of the shelter and into a REAL forever home - senior dogs are a GIFT, and this old gal deserves nothing less ❤️

It's International Cat Day - which makes it the perfect time to remind everyone that our kitten adoption promotion continues through tomorrow!

Kittens are always better (and get into less trouble!) in pairs, so if you adopt 2 together, the second adoption fee is half off 🐾

*Our fishy friends have left the building, thank you all for the interest!*

We have some fishies looking for homes!

There are a few standard goldies, a shubunkin, and an oranda, as well as a random white skirt tetra, a large plecostomus (who is recovering from some injuries it had when we got him), and a couple of aquatic snails. These kids do not need to go together, and all need upgrades into larger tanks (50 gal+) or ponds. We do not have proper containers to send them home in, so please be prepared with something for transport.

We have some BEAUTIFUL cats - and lots of kittens - moving up to adoption tomorrow!

Because kittens are always happier (and less likely to get into trouble!) when kept in pairs, we're offering a special discount on kitten (6 months or younger) adoption fees...50% off the second adoption ❤️ That means singles are our standard adoption of $100, and pairs will be $150, to approved applicants (when both are adopted the same day, to the same household). This will continue through August 9th, or until all of our kittens are adopted! All available cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, flea treated/dewormed, microchipped, and vaccinated as many times as is appropriate for their stay here.
