Kilo (little guy) came in for not feeling 100%. Turned out he had a bout of hepatitis (he likely ate something that inflamed his liver). He was doted on and cuddled with as he had a work up and treatments done. He’s since made a full recover and is back to his normal self. 🐶

Roux his friend in the first two pictures was here for bloodwork and moral support.

FYI: there are fake seresto collars being sold online. The one on the left is fake. The one on the right is real- ie says seresto made by Elanco.

There can stillBe counterfeit seresto collars online too, so make sure you order from a reputable site if ordering online

Dr. Miller and her twin Brother Mr. Miller. This is their 10th year of teaching Mr. Miller’s 5th grade students about veterinary medicine and how the math they are learning can be applied.

The students get to do real veterinary math problems and pretend to anesthetize the stuffed animals. The math we do everyday at alder creek happens to be what the students are learning in 5th grade. It’s a great real world example of applying their knowledge

Minerva 18 weeks and 60lbs

Dr. Miller’s “brother” (ie parent’s dog) Jake came in for his annual vaccines and bloodwork. He also got an ultrasound as shelties are prone to gallbladder issues.

He got a clean bill of health! 💙
