The piercing blue eyes of the Salt Wells Creek stallion, Jack of Hearts, are mesmerizing. It's almost as if he can see into your soul.

I'm hoping this magnificent stallion and his family won't lose their freedom once the Checkerboard roundup commences on July 15, but if they're allowed to zero out the herd, all the horses, including Jack, will be gone forever. What a sad day that will be.
