Groomed this guy this morning. Then I deep cleaned everything in my dog room, just finished up. The crates still need pressure washing and my dogs still need a good grooming but for now, a break. 😴

This morning, Maggie's mom texted me to tell me she crossed the rainbow Bridge with a little help from her veterinarian. I'm so thankful that I had the opportunity to be her groomer and that I had the opportunity to groom her recently, and I was able to say goodbye. Please send healing vibes to Maggie's mom as I'm sure the house is way too quiet this evening.

The handsomest boy came to see me for a bath on Tuesday. Porter is a bit dramatic in the fact that he uses his spa days for time in my fenced yard. His grooms start with a few minutes of yard time followed by his spa package. This week, he decided to let himself outside unto the backyard before his groom. He seems pleased with himself. 😂

These lovely ladies would like to remind everyone that shedding season is here!!! So let's get a jump on it before you have a hairy situation on your hands!

A properly groomed pet with a consistent grooming routine will shed properly, meaning that you won't be battling excessive shedding and/or encounter undercoat impaction. When a dogs natural ability to shed is compromised by impactionion, it also leads to our best friends not being able to properly maintain their body temperature. This inability to properly cool themselves as we move into spring and then summer also increases their risk for heat stroke. If you would like to schedule a groom and beat the hair, please contact me to schedule.

This old man came to me after being kicked out of a grooming shop. The first time I groomed him, I'll be honest he was a nightmare. It took me several hours, he had an absolute fit and tried to bite me on several occasions. He's old, grouchy, and his eye site and hearing aren't what they used to be. I had to shave him with a 10 blade due to his mom having issues finding him a groomer. Today he threw his usual fit for the dryer but made no attempts to bite me. In the beginning of his groom he was his usual grouchy self but midway through I guess he decided he was safe. He fell asleep on my table while I finished him.

The first groom was a comfort groom due to his behavior and coat condition. The second was today's groom.
