Animal Control on Duty: 8am-4pm M-F

Looking for a Lost Animal? Our Mission is to:
-Assist the public with animal issues in the county.
-Investigate animal bites and animal cruelty and neglect complaints.
-Enforce local county ordinances.
-Impounding and caring of

stray/surrendered animals.
-Educating the public on responsible ownership of pets. When animals are brought to the shelter with no owner identification, the animal is held for
2 days under a stray hold awaiting owner reclaim. When an animal is brought in with owner
identification the animal is under a stray hold for 10 days awaiting owner reclaim. All adoptions include all initial intake vaccinations, Spay/Neuter
Rabies vaccination and Heart worm test.

Meet Lotti – a devoted mama who gave her all to her puppies and is now ready for a patient, loving home of her own.

She’s a sweet girl who’s come a long way—she now does happy dances when her foster gets home and is learning basic commands like sit and leave it. Lotti is shy around new people and needs time to feel safe, but once she bonds, she’s incredibly loyal.

She gets along well with medium-sized dogs and enjoys doing zoomies in the yard. Lotti will thrive in a calm, experienced home with a secure yard and someone willing to go at her pace. She’s not for a first-time dog owner, but for the right person, she’ll be an incredibly rewarding companion.

My name is Axel. When you meet me you will notice my soft brown eyes and cooperative personality. 😍

My foster family is very impressed with the ease at which I walk on a leash. 👣 When they want my full attention, a gentle finger snap and hand motion inspires me to re-focus for a chin scratch. 🐶

I’m working on crate training and know the cue to go outside. 🚽 I still have lots of fun puppy energy and they keep telling me how great and smart I am. 🧠

Yep, it’s true—I’ve only got one eye! Some folks call me a little cyclops, but c’mon… those are supposed to be scary monsters. Me? I’m the exact opposite—I’m a snuggly, goofy, wittle one-eyed puppy who just wants love! 💕

I zip around like a pro, no problem at all, because honestly… who even needs two eyes? When I was just a tiny tot, my eye got hurt before I came to the shelter. Luckily, the amazing medical team stepped in, took great care of me, and made sure I’d live my best, happiest life. I was never in pain, and now I get to rock this “pirate pup” look like the coolest dog in town. 🏴‍☠️🐾

Everyone is cheering for this amazing boy to finally find his forever home! 🎉🏡

This sweet, silly, outgoing pup has been waiting 220 days (yep, over HALF A YEAR!) for his perfect family to come along. 😢💔

Max is a total people-lover 🥰👩‍👩‍👧‍👦 and does great with other dogs too 🐶🐾. His journey hasn’t been easy—he was rescued by his loving foster after being attacked by a wild pig 🐗😱. Thanks to lifesaving care and lots of TLC 💕, he made a full recovery and is now healthy, happy, and ready to shine! 🌟

At just 1 years of age, these handsome boys are the perfect “ranch-dog special” mix of breeds. What you get is a whole lot of sweetness, charm, and personality in two medium-sized packages.

If you guessed BUSTER, you win! He's a walking, wagging mystery wrapped in adorable confusion. Maybe part Corgi, part Cattle Dog... or maybe part superhero🦸🏼—because who else rocks a bandit mask and while stealing hearts?

🐕 1 yr 2 mo old, male, Corgi/Cattle Dog mix(?), white fur and lotsa speckles
