What a great day! Cindy and her daughter Dani are leasing Sweetea for the summer and today was their "gotcha" day! Cindy's lesson was great, and even better because her parents were there to watch! I loved meeting them and appreciate all parents who let their daughters have horses. Congratulations to Cindy, Dani and Sweetea!

Interesting read. Have to admit I sometimes ask a few too many, um -"personal questions"- of my male riders because I can't relate to what's going on "down there." As Elaine Benes says on Sienfeld: "...a woman's body is a work of art. A man's body is utilitarian. It's for getting around. It's like a Jeep." Any men who ride hunt seat want to weigh in?

So this happened! Girls' Night was going along as usual and then - thanks to Fabrizio - a party broke out! In honor of his beautiful, Italian mom, we had Culvers burgers and fries and had such a great time just talking about horses. Thank you, Fabrizio, for buying dinner! Feeling grateful!

Welcome to the barn Elvis and his mom, Katie. Elvis has already fit right into the barn family and enjoys his pasture time with his new bestie, Indy. Does your trainer still have a trainer? I do. Why wouldn't you keep learning, keep improving, keep seeing and hearing new things, keep trying new techniques? I'm grateful to have my trainer, Peggy, as such a big part of my riding and my life with horses. Here's a pic from my lesson last weekend doing the good-ol' two-point exercises. Thanks, Indy, for a fun lesson (do you really have to jump me out of the tack over a 2'9 vertical?)
