A little bio on our judge.
Amanda Wilgenburg first got into horses around the age of 8 taking lessons at the local western barn not far from her home. She progressed through 4-H, gaming, trail riding, hunter hack and some breed shows (Arabs & Appys). After some time away from horses, driving truck across Canada and the US, she came back to horses through a friend who she’d gone through 4-H with. There she first tried dressage, after leasing her friends horse for a while. She was hooked. She then decided to go through the L program, achieved distinction, and went on from there to achieve her small r. Now you will find her happily teaching students across the spectrum of WD, dressage and eventing, competing, trail riding and of course judging whenever she can.
