SABLE IS BREATHTAKING WELL WITHOUT THE OXYGEN!! 🙏

She has been on Room Air for hours, and if that continues she will be able to go home! 🙏

She was barking at her nurses to get her out of the cage so they set up a little area for her next to them so she can feel a part of the action & get more petting time! 😄

Pugs may be small, but when it comes to heat, they face a big challenge. Because of their short noses and compact bodies, pugs can overheat much faster than many other dog breeds. Knowing when it's too hot outside can help keep your furry friend safe and happy all summer long. ❤️

✅ Under 20°C (68°F) – Perfect weather for walks, playtime, and outdoor adventures.

⚠️ 20–24°C (68–75°F) – Use caution. Bring water, take breaks, and avoid intense exercise.

🚨 24–28°C (75–82°F) – Limit activity. Keep walks short and watch closely for signs of overheating.

🛑 28°C+ (82°F+) – High risk of heatstroke. Keep your pug cool, hydrated, and indoors whenever possible.

Watch for heatstroke warning signs: 🐶 Excessive panting
💧 Thick drool
🔴 Bright red gums
😔 Weakness
🤢 Vomiting

Yet, somehow, my dog always knows before anyone else does. They quietly follow me from room to room, rest their head a little longer on my knee, or gaze up with those patient eyes that seem to understand far more than words ever could. In those moments, I realize that I don’t need to explain myself. Their presence alone is a steady reassurance, a gentle reminder that love doesn’t need reasons, conditions, or solutions—it only requires attention and care.

This silent companionship transforms even the heaviest days into moments of comfort. Their quiet loyalty fills the gaps left by the world, making the home feel warmer, safer, and full of unspoken understanding.
