Policy & Price Update

🐾 Vaccinations & Medical Conditions
Because we provide one-on-one grooming, Rabies is the only required vaccination.

Please inform us in advance of any medical conditions, skin sensitivities, or allergies your pet may have.

Grooming can sometimes reveal underlying or pre-existing conditions. If anything is noticed, we’ll bring it to your attention. However, owners are fully responsible for any veterinary costs related to conditions that are pre-existing or discovered during or after grooming.

💵 Additional Fees
Handling Fees:
Your pet’s safety and wellbeing is our top priority. If your pet becomes overly stressed, we will give them a break or end the session if needed and charge accordingly.

Matting & Undercoat Fees:
Matting is painful and can cause skin irritation, bruising, and even loss of circulation. While we do our best to minimize discomfort, Resting Bark Face is not responsible for any matting-related skin issues. Fees for matting or excessive undercoat removal range from $15–$100, depending on severity.

Flea/Tick Fee:
If there’s an infestation of fleas or ticks, a $40 fee will be added.

Travel Fee:
Travel fees may apply depending on your location.

📅 Cancellations
Life happens—we get it! Please provide at least a 48 hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a $25 cancellation fee.

Frequent last-minute cancellations may result in the inability to book future appointments, as they affect the livelihood of small business owners.

⏰ Arrival Window
The dogs safety will never be compromised by rushing to stay on schedule. While we strive to be on time, sometimes situations occur like traffic or pets having a difficult time during their appointment. For that reason we have a one-hour arrival time window and offer latch key service for pet parents who aren’t able to be home during the appointment.
