🐾❤️ HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY! ❤️🐾

Today is National Dog Day, and at Kathryn’s Precious Paw Rescue, that means celebrating the incredible dogs who fill our lives with unconditional love, loyalty, laughter, and plenty of paw prints. 🐶💕

But today is also a reminder of the dogs who are still waiting. Waiting for someone to notice them. Waiting for a family of their own. Waiting for the day when they can finally unpack their little bags and know they are HOME forever. 🏡🐾

The beautiful faces in these photos are some of our available dogs, and each one has a story, a personality, and so much love to give. They may have come to us from different circumstances, but they all deserve the same thing — a safe, loving home and a family who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. ❤️

On National Dog Day, we hope you’ll celebrate with us by adopting, fostering, donating, volunteering, sharing our posts, or simply telling someone about a rescue dog who needs a home. Sometimes one share is all it takes for the right person to see their future best friend.

🐾💙 Introducing Baby Blue! 💙🐾

This tiny little girl is about 5–6 weeks old and has already earned herself the cutest name! Her foster bought her a can of Babycat food, saw “Baby Blue,” and thought… that’s it! Baby Blue! 💙

Don’t let that sweet little face fool you though — she’s still a little spicy! 🌶️😹 But her amazing foster is working with her every single day, giving her lots of love, patience, and attention, and she’s already getting better.

We can’t wait to watch Baby Blue come out of her shell and learn that people can be pretty wonderful. 💙🐾

🐾 ZIGGY SURGERY UPDATE! 🐾

We have wonderful news — Ziggy’s surgery went very well! 🙏💙

Our little guy is understandably tired, but he is doing well. And the sweetest part? As soon as they brought him out after surgery and he saw his fosters, his little tail started wagging. 🥹🐾 He knew his people were there for him.

Ziggy now has a long road of recovery ahead. He will need six weeks of very restricted cage rest so his knee can heal properly, but we know he is in the absolute best hands. His fosters have been incredible through this entire journey, and I am so, so thankful for them. ❤️

Fosters truly are the heartbeat of rescue. I wish every day that we had more foster homes because the more fosters we have, the more lives we can save. 🐶🐱

For now, we are going to focus on getting our sweet Ziggy healed and back on those little legs. Please continue to keep Ziggy in your thoughts and prayers for a smooth and speedy recovery. 🙏

And to EVERYONE who donated, shared his story, prayed for him, and helped make this surgery possible — THANK YOU. This village made today possible. 💙🐾

Just look at this sweet little boy! 🥹❤️ Ziggy has completely melted all of our hearts here at KPP Rescue, and tomorrow he takes the next big step in his journey — his knee surgery! 🐶🩺

Please keep Ziggy, his surgeon, and the entire veterinary team in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow. We are praying for a successful surgery and a smooth recovery for our precious boy. 🙏❤️

And to every single person who donated, shared his story, prayed for him, and helped us reach our goal — THANK YOU. Because of you, Ziggy is able to have the surgery he needs. We truly could not have done this without our incredible village.

It takes a village to rescue, and our village showed up for Ziggy. 🥹🐾❤️

They’ve been safe and loved with us, but rescue was never supposed to be their forever home. They deserve a family. They deserve a couch. They deserve to know they’re HOME.

🐾💙 KPP KARES UPDATE — NOODLE! 💙🐾

Look at our sweet Noodle! 🥹 We just ordered another supply of his food, and as you can see in this video, this boy gets VERY excited when it’s time to eat! 😂🐶🍽️

It’s hard to believe that Noodle has now been with KPP KARES for an entire year. He came to us after being discarded at the shelter in his senior years, when he should have been surrounded by love and security.

Today, Noodle is doing wonderful and absolutely loving life! ❤️ He is safe, spoiled, cared for, and most importantly, he knows he is loved.

This is exactly why KPP KARES means so much to us. Senior dogs deserve so much better than spending their final years confused and alone in a shelter. Whenever we are able, we want to give these precious seniors the comfort, medical care, good food, and LOVE they deserve for however much time they have left. 🥹❤️

One year later, Noodle is still going strong — and we couldn’t be happier! 🐾

Here’s to many more happy meals, Noodle! 😂🍽️❤️
