I am currently available for in-home pet check-ins and overnights in the San Gorgonio Pass. My name is Beth and I have over 7 years of experience of animal welfare in both a shelter and rescue setting. While my expertise is in caring for cats and dogs, I have also have some experience with common pet birds and small mammals, such as guinea pigs. I am happy to provide pet sitting services while you

are on vacation, traveling for work, or need an extra helping hand! My focus as a pet sitter is to reduce stress, as well as provide the mental stimulation and physical exercise that pets need be happy and healthy. While I am not a trainer or behaviorist, my experience has taught me to utilize fear free methods and positive reinforcement to create a positive association between myself and your pets.

The 4th of July is a fun family holiday, but as this comic from The Oatmeal shows, your pets won't find it nearly as fun.
Remember to keep your dogs secured inside! More pets go missing on the 4th of July than any other holiday.
Be sure to keep them away from any fireworks, bbq grills, and fire pits to avoid injury, and be careful not to feed them people food unless you are SURE that each ingredient is safe. Otherwise, you will get an explosion of another kind out of their back end that may require a vet visit!

Hey Snoots followers!
If I offered early morning hikes as a service for your dog, would you be interested? The idea would be to take your active dog on a size and age appropriate hike in the mountains or local foothills. I would be walking with pepper gel spray to deter predators, just in case, and would keep an eye out for hazards.
If so, do you think $55-$75 would be a fair price depending on the hike difficulty and length?
