UPDATE 11:00 am Eastern 1-9-2026: Minnie has been FOUND - ALIVE!!! I do not have all the details but Alex extends her most heartfelt appreciation to everyone who shared and helped! Hopefully Minnie will recover from her adventure and be back to herself ASAP.

URGENT - HELP NEEDED!

Minnie got spooked late this afternoon and ran away from Alex in Okeechobee Florida. She needs medication every 12 hours so it is critical that she be found soon. Alex is searching everywhere and asking all neighbors to be on the lookout.

YOU can make all the difference though. Please share and tag any friends or groups that you know in the area that might help locate her. Call Alex, Kathy, or Greg if anyone remotely thinks they may have seen her.

Her last know location was at Yellow Dog Ranch - north of Okeechobee County Airport, north of Basswood Estates, about a mile west of US-441N.

These two accomplished young retrievers have had quite a career!

* Wizard was an AFC at 2 years old and a Double Header Winner!

* Cricket was an AFC at 2 years old and an FC at 3 years old!

Both have qualified for the National Amateur and National Open Retriever Championships and are still under 5 years old.

Wizard is the son of FC / AFC Coolwater's Knockout "Punch" X FC / AFC Coolwater's Hooked on Springtime "Maya" - both qualifying for multiple national amateurs and national opens. Both were national finalists with Punch being a multi-time national finalist. Wizard has several brothers and sisters who have become AFCs, FCs, and accomplished Canadian Field Trial retrievers!

Cricket is the daughter of NAFC / FC / AFC Coolwater's Hawkeye "Legend" and Coolwater's Seaside Surprise.
