Let’s be real—without our front desk crew, the clinic would be total chaos. They’re the first friendly face you see, the steady voice on the phone, and the miracle workers who somehow keep everything (and everyone) on track.

From managing a nonstop stream of calls, scheduling around surprises, and greeting every tail wag and nervous meow—they do it all with heart, humor, and heroic patience (fueled by caffeine and sheer willpower).

They remember your pup’s fun nickname, your cat’s diva demands, and somehow stay cool while juggling five things at once.

So here’s to the true MVPs of the clinic—the calm in the storm, the brains behind the scenes, and the reason we don’t all fall apart. We seriously don’t know how you do it... but thank dog you do.

Today we’re celebrating the life of Allyson, on what would have been her birthday.

Allyson was a bright light—kind, strong, and endlessly devoted to animals. As a vet tech, she poured her heart into caring for every creature that came her way. One of her greatest joys was fostering kittens who didn’t have a home. She gave them love, safety, and a chance to grow strong. Her home was always full of tiny paws and second chances.

To honor her today, her family dropped off treats to share with the clinic—one of the many ways they keep her memory alive. It’s a small gesture that carries so much love, just like Allyson did every day.

Happy birthday, Allyson. We miss you, and we carry your love forward.

We’ve added later evening hours—because we know your life doesn’t shut down at 5PM. Whether your dog starts shaking her head right after you get out of work, or your cat decides to unleash an Oscar-worthy performance at dusk, we’re here for it.

⏰ New extended hours mean more time for checkups, belly rubs, and “why is he limping like that?” moments.

Your pets don’t keep business hours. Now, neither do we (well, sort of—we still sleep eventually. Sometimes. 😴). Come on in and see us—now with extra convenience and the same amount of treats. 🍖

🐾 Meet the Team Tuesday: Dr. Jennifer Garmon! 🐾

Say hello to Dr. Jennifer Garmon, our incredible Medical Director! Growing up on a ranch in Colorado, she developed a love for animals early on, which led her to earn her DVM from Colorado State University. After a stint working in Tennessee, she made her way to Maine, where she now keeps both our standards and spirits high.

Dr. Garmon has a special passion for surgery, especially orthopedics, helping pets get back on their feet—literally! When she’s not in the OR, you’ll find her running, reading, serving as a devoted minion to her horse, and making sure the rest of us stay in line. 😆
