I have another kitty that is in dire need of a home. This is Sooty, a very scared 9 year-old kitty whose owner recently moved into an assisted living facility due to a brain tumor and cognitive issues. He is no longer able to care for Sooty. The family is planning to take him to the Humane Society unless I can find him a home in the near future. He is so afraid… I don’t think he would do well at the Humane Society. From his current owner:
Arnett is a 10 year old Tuxedo, who has lived happily with us the entire time.
He is an indoor only cat and has immensely enjoyed a Catio that we have.
During the day, he loves to nap in his private and undisturbed quarters in the bedroom closet but will come out immediately to take naps with you in the bed.
If he’s not sleeping in ‘his ‘closet, where ever it may be, he will cover his eyes with his paws to block the light.
He has a very interesting trait of kicking himself in the face if he’s very excited. I don’t understand that one but it is what it is.
During the evening he likes to hang out in the living room with us on ‘his’ chair, just to participate in home life.
He loves the simple things such as paper bags, ribbon on a stick and rodent shaped catnip toys. He is a very smart cat and can out think any kind of mechanical toy, he usually just sits on it and stops the movement.
He is a bit of a wimpy guy when strangers come to the house, he will run and hide.
Arnett is a very loving, well behaved boy with only the bad disposition of wanting to be a 1 cat family cat. We are a multicat family and the stress on the other cats because of his wanting to be king just is not working out well for all involved.
We really want him to have a loving home where he will enjoy the center of attention.

Lily(7 years old) and Maisie(10 years old)😻Two kitties in desperate need of a home/homes. Their elderly owner is entering assisted living due to a fall and cannot take them with him. They don’t particularly love each other, so they don’t need to be adopted as a pair. Both are healthy. Please let me know if you are interested and I can provide additional information. 

Lily: Likes the quiet and the backs of chairs. Very shy at first. Playful and a snuggler. Likes to wedge herself into a chair and help read the paper in the morning. Loves to be brushed and politely asks for belly rubs by flopping on her back.

Maisie: Loves to speak to you and will make every effort to help you understand what she wants. Loves being brushed and combed, and a good cardboard box! She begs for treats in the morning and she’ll come when she’s called.

Punzie is still cancer free and a happy healthy kitty 9 months later!! Thanks again to all that helped with her surgery😻

Punzie is a patient of mine… She is such a sweet kitty and will likely have to be euthanized if she doesn’t have her leg with the cancer amputated. She has so much more life to live. Any help is greatly appreciated!💜
