Someone just called me to tell me that he has a 13-week-old Cane Corso that he bought from another breeder because he just couldn't pass up the great price. He then asked me how to train the puppy! I told him that he should contact the breeder he got the puppy from for that advice. He told me that the person who bred the dog isn't a trainer, and he didn't know, that's why he was calling me! I don't know what this guy was thinking, but that isn't how it works. If you buy your puppy from someone else, it isn't my job to advise you on how to train it, and if the person you bought the Corso from can't offer you training advice, then you have problems right from the start. Know what you are paying for before you spend your money, and if you choose to spend your money with someone who lacks knowledge about the breed, well, that speaks for itself.
