Shoutout time!!! 🤩

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Lily with SK Barn Srvcs who spent two days deep cleaning our barn!! Last year, she did such a great job cleaning our barn, I had to have her back! Next time I won’t wait so long to call her in between cleanings 😅. It had been a whole year and my perfectionist-self couldn’t stand it any longer! 🤣 There were cobwebs and inches of dust EVERYWHERE! I know, I know, it’s a horse barn, but I love a fresh clean barn, don’t you?! Everyone is able to function and breathe better, especially the horses!!

Thank you Lily for doing such a thorough and amazing job on our barn! 💛 It won’t last long because 🫣😅, but for now, Golden Way Farm is shining! ✨

Everyone meet 𝓢𝓪𝓭𝓲𝓮 💜!

Many of you may have already met Miss Sadie at the barn, but for those who haven’t, here she is!

This sweet girl has been with us now for almost 2 months and what a sweet addition to the Farm she is!! She is already loved so much!! Sadie is a part of our lesson program/ barn family, and we couldn’t be happier! 💜💜 A gentle giant with a big heart of gold! We are so blessed to have this sweet mare! 💜

It was dental day at the Farm today!!! Thank you Dr. Febles and Jennifer for taking care of our babies!! We have a lot of young horses here now and dental work is SO important to having healthy and happy horses!

2025 NBHA Youth & Teen World Championships 🔥

Where do I even begin?! Our very first NBHA Youth/Teen World was one for the books!! I am BEYOND proud of my students who worked so hard to get here and who continued to put in the work all week against 2000+ of the world’s toughest youth and teen barrel racers!

The heat was scorching in Perry, but my girls and their horses worked tirelessly day in and day out! Lessons were learned, personal victories were had, including personal best times in the arenas, smiles and positive attitudes were displayed and lots of love and appreciation for your amazing equine teammates occurred throughout the week!! Early mornings, late night tune up sessions to get ready for your next runs and SOOO many amazing memories, including celebrating birthdays, losing my voice at the end of the week from cheering ya’ll on so loudly everyday lol 😂…. I seriously would not change this life for anything! Being on the other side of the arena this week with my students put a fire in me. Seeing the progress and goals met and surpassed within each of my students is so exciting! Seeing the youth and teens of our amazing sport accomplish so much is inspiring!!

Once again, congratulations to my students for an awesome FIRST NBHA Youth & Teen World! I was honored to be on the sidelines cheering for you both! Now let’s rest up for a minute lol and get back to work!! 🔥🫶🤠💛

Round 1 is done and dusted. 💪🏻 What a day for our students and their equine athletes, a day full of so many emotions! I’m so proud of the girls and their horses/pony for the lessons learned and the victories achieved in their runs today!! Time to dig deeper, rest or try to 😆, and get ready for Thursday’s runs for Round 2!!

The prep work is done. The day has come for two of our students, Emma and Devin!! 2025 NBHA Youth & Teen World Championships Round 1 starts this morning!! My girls are so ready. Their horses are so ready!! Let’s do this girls!! 💪🏻 Praying for safe, clean and smooth runs for Round 1!! So thankful and grateful for this life and watching our students accomplish so much! 💛

What an amazing night last night!!

💛 7 Golden Way Farm Students! 6 awesome horses! 9 runs down the alleyway! 💛

Each horse and rider team did absolutely amazing. There were triumphs and things learned but most importantly, everyone left with healthy kids and horses and fun memories! I am so proud of each and every one of my students who went out there and conquered each run with grit and determination! A huge thank you to our amazing parents as well! Thank you Summit Ranch for having us and running a very smooth show last night! It was a night to remember! 💪🏻💛🌟

I’m so excited and proud for two of our very own students who qualified for Youth World this year! Let’s get this week started! 💪🏻🔥💛

’Twas the night before NBHA Youth & Teen World, and all through the grounds,
There was silence — no trailers, no hoofbeats, no sounds.
The stalls all stood ready, the gates locked up tight,
Awaiting the chaos that comes with first light.

The barns were empty, no chatter, no gear —
Just the calm before thousands of horses appear.
The arenas were prepped with precision and care,
In hopes that fast times soon would be there.

The riders were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of buckles danced in their heads.
The calm before trailers roll in with a roar,
And the countdown to Youth World becomes no more.

From Peewee to Teen, the competition’s tight —
But they’ve come here to shine, to make every turn tight.
So here’s to the riders, both nervous and bold,
It’s NBHA Youth World time. Let the victories unfold.
