From the very beginning at the Good Go Ing Training Center, our goal has been to operate a first class, high quality sporting dog training facility. Good Go Ing is a full time, professional sporting dog business. Our approach has always been to tell people what we can do and how we do it. From there we feel our reputation and the many important aspects of dog training and care we offer will sell themselves. We are not the least expensive pointer trainers, and we certainly wouldn't want to be. It is not possible, given the standards and goals that the Gooding's represent. We are doing our best to be known as the trainers that provide some of the most extensive experience and knowledge in the business.

Tula is headed to Nebraska!

This Large Münsterlander is ready for her first wild bird hunt, chasing roosters on the plains. She's been an exciting project over the last year and a half, and watching her dial in on her training and harness all that enthusiasm has been incredibly rewarding.

Just as rewarding has been working alongside her owner. His commitment to Tula and his growth as a handler have been a big part of her success. This team has put in the work, and it shows.

Can't wait to hear how she does on those Nebraska pheasants!

Look who came to work today! 🐾 Brianna brought Harley along, and she spent the morning hanging out with Tess. Harley is from our Ranger x Tipper litter earlier this summer.

“Good morning Jason! Wanted to send a quick pic of our puppy Trace from this morning on a woodcock hunt.

4 1/2 months - Drake/Kimber pup”

An exciting update from this young litter! It's great to see these pups doing so well and taking to the hunting and bird work so naturally.

Millie enjoyed her summer in Michigan! 🍃🐾 She’ll soon be joining us at Good Go Ing Kennels for our Headstart Hunting Program, where we’ll begin building the foundation for her future as a hunting dog. Millie is from our Ari × Lexi litter born this spring.

“Star, 5.5 mo., Alberta Canada, First big hunt, 1 Hun covey point, 1 Sharptail point to date! She’s a winner! All the best, Pete”

Star is from our litter earlier this summer by Nova and Ranger. It’s great to see these young dogs getting their first opportunities in the field this fall and showing such great potential.

A North Dakota moose on the move across the prairie. You just never know what you’ll see out here! 🫎

The crew is back in North Dakota for our annual Sharptail Hunt! 🐦

New accommodations this year, but the same great adventure, good friends, great dogs, and memories made in the field.
